  1. $3.19 for 87 octane here. Christ, it cost 80 bucks to fill my truck up.
  2. Last time I shipped a blaster frame, I braced the fender mounts and other mounting tabs with wood, wrapped the frame in heavy duty black plastic and packing taped the crap out of it before taking it to the UPS pickup point. I shipped it half way accross the US for 38 bucks, which I didn't think was too bad.
  3. The two pieces of rubber on the boots have to be trimmed flush with the mating surface in order to use them with the Delta Reeds.
  4. I was waiting to see those pics Ron. Wow, that crank is completely f'd. I figured that it just spun, not broke. I would hope Vito's helps Mark out with that. Had a great time riding with you guys, in spite of all those damn mosquitos. I'm glad we located another can of bug spray, those damn things were huge! I only had a slight hangover on sunday morning...... Let me know when your heading back down there.
  5. Ron, sounds good. I look forward to riding with you again. Todd, the hell with florida, get to the dunes! Besides, the weather isn't that good in florida right now. What more of an excuse do you need???
  6. I don't mind riding when it's hot, as long as the a/c in the trailer is running and the beer is ice cold....
  7. Always am.... So how bout it, you going that weekend?
  8. Nothing but the good stuff, snakes and sparklers......
  9. Were heading down the morning of the 14th. Anyone else going that weekend?
  10. I wish we could. Still shooting for the weekend of the 11th Ron? Were heading out 7:00 in the morning. I am soooo ready to hit the dunes...
  11. So what exactly are you going to be selling? Complete swingarms or just the conversion kit? Prices?
  12. A glowing head pipe is not a sign that it's running rich, but instead its lean. Is the airbox lid still on? Try 25 pilots, air fuel screws 3 turns out, 155 main left carb, 160 right, lower the clip on the needle one notch (forth groove from the blunt end of the needle) and you should be real close.
  13. I'm going that weekend too!!! j/k
  14. We have a used set of Vito's SS pistons. They are in good shape and include the pin, clips, rings, and top end bearings. They have approximately 70-80 hrs on them and are .020 over. I would personally replace the rings if I were going to put them in my machine but that would be up to you. If your looking for a cheap way to experiment with this style of piston, this is for you. $45 shipped.
  15. We have one. Off an 88 with the low profile foam and red/black seat cover in great condition. $40. No need to ship as we could work out a way to get it to you easy enough.
  16. Back the screws out a couple of turns and then tap them in with a small hammer. This will drive the round nut(s) out of the flange. When tightened, the nut goes through the flange and into the silencer body. Just removing the bolts won't let it come apart. You have to remove the nuts to get them apart. Hope this helps.
  17. I have had excellent results with the templates as well. Just finished my son's cylinders and what an improvement it made. He gained at least four bike lengths in a 400 yd drag, not to mention a great deal of bottom end. It was well worth the effort.
  18. Tracy, I'll have you one on monday. S&W has them.
  19. I figured that the drivers side was turned in more to compensate for the fuel take on the drivers side.
  20. I found you a place that sells just the idle screw kit without the caps. Try Rocky Mountain ATV. Here is the link: http://www.rockymountainatv.com/Product_De...tv?pid=00009502 Hope this helps
  21. I personally would buy the idle kit instead of relying on the cable tention to keep the idle. It's not hard to install and your idle will be more consistant and you will be able to get some free play in the cable.
  22. That's a nice way to help out a fellow racer. Those type of people piss me off. Nice shee btw.
