  1. I would start with a 27.5
  2. Were is your needle at?
  3. They sell a filter adapter kit that attaches inside the filter box to you can clamp the filter on. They also sell a whole kit with the adapter and k&n filter and outer wear. Then you can take the lid on and off as long as you jet for it.
  4. All loaded up and ready to go.
  5. Swap parts off the other bike that has spark, cdi maybe. Does the flywheel sound like a baby rattle (broken magnets}?.pickup coil itself.
  6. Any good motor builder can port twister cylinders, you would just get them from twister. Some builders might have more expierence than others with these cylinders and might know a few tricks that make them work better. I think it just comes down to builder preference.
  7. I use Redline for my port work and machine work, but any one that is a site sponser on here knows there shit!!
  8. Hook me up
  9. Always down for a good race sound like fun
  10. I run one on a bike that is shaved .035, +4 timing and run 93 octane pump gas.At sea level.
  11. You could get it ported and bump your timing to +4deg with a timing plate for under $500, and get your head shaved if you are on a tight budget to raise your compression, and it would look like you had a stock head and have a sleeper motor.
  12. My 21cc domes on my motor pump 180 psi at sea level.
  13. I am going to Florence saturday on the 20th. Parking at the face at south jetty. If anyone else is there stop and say hi, i will have my banshee there in my sig and i have a silver lifted dodge pickup. There will be a small group of us lets go riding. Just going for a day trip.
  14. I think the right side is cut off. I sand drag at the dunes and 300ft dirt drags at Albany Oregon. Also i have a dual feed pingel valve and have my gas cap vent drilled out.
  15. I see in your mod list you run a degree key instead of a timing plate, i would rather run an adjustable timing plate than a degree key. I have heard of those offset keys shearing off when you are out riding not very reliable. I would buy a plate and set it to +4. Just my thoughts.
  16. All my alky carbs have a float cut off one side with no oversized float bowls, works good. I have never tried it with gas carbs.
  17. If Cameron at redline ported those cylinders and you wanted to know about them you should talk to him. Plus if he did the work you know it was done RIGHT. Redline builds some mean motors, i see that he is also now a site sponsor, easy to get a hold of. Just my 2 cents.
  18. I grind on both sides of my shift shaft to keep from breaking the stud that sticks through the spring.I have not broke one since someone showed me that mod.And it shifts better.
  19. I run Redline oil specifically designed for methanol. I run my mix at 40 to 1 with this oil, when i used Maxima i ran it at 20 to 1.
  20. Is the T.O.R.S. system still on the bike? If so unplug the little box to it up under the fuel tank on the left side.
  21. Bump your pilot jets to 27.5 stock is 25.
  22. Make sure you soak your fiber plates in trans oil.
  23. Should pull pretty good, just get it jetted right. Bumping your timing would help also if it isn't.
  24. 310 on the main and 27.5 on the pilot,1.5 on the air screw.Start on the middle clip on the needle. I have never ran those pipes but a buddy of mine did and they were close to T-5s on the jetting.
