  1. sorry for the thread jack, but what's the difference between the f3 and c5 levers?
  2. that long travel elka suspension is gonna be better than anything you could expect out of any stock 4stroke. if you were to go the 4stroke route, you would end up wanting to upgrade to elka suspension anyways.
  3. looks like you pretty much have it covered. but i would also try and get some sort of aftermarket air filter, prob. k&n if i were you. IMO, if you are mostly gonna ride dunes then the banshee is the best way to go. if you were gonna trail or ride mx then i would lean towards 4stroke.
  4. well what do you have done to you bike as of right now? and is the 3k counting cost for rebuild (new pistons, bore, hone...)?
  5. if you were wanting to drop 5-6 k into you shee, IMO it would be way faster and have better suspension than any stock 4stroke you could buy. i say, rebuild you keep the shee and put 5-6 k into it.

  9. milling your head increases compression, which increases bottom end power. if your not wanting to spring for a cool head, then you might as well mill your stock one. but keep in mind, the more compression you have the higher octane fuel you will have to run after a certain point.

  13. i had the exact same problem installing my nerfs last week. i think what it is, is the foot peg mount ( the part that goes in place of the original foot peg) doesnt fit properly, so i had to tighten the front bolt first, install the nerfs, and tighten the rear bolt on the peg mount. it was still a PITA though. tryin to get the right side bolt in where it mounts to the frame is a beyotch! good luck to ya.
