  1. this might help you out --- http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73648 but if i were you i would save the little extra money to buy a new set of the pipes i really wanted instead of buying two sets of pipes. especially if your dead set on buying new pipes. just my .02. if you decide to go fmf, the only major difference between silencers is that the turbine core II's have a spark arrestor.
  2. you can buy a nice set of used t5's for around $350. theres usually always a set on ebay.
  3. that was my first thought, but when i switched the carbs around (left carb to right side and right carb to left side) the same carb that WAS lower on the left was still lower when i put it on the right side. but if it doesnt matter which carbs goes on which side anyways (since they both have chokes) then i guess its not really a big deal.
  4. so i'm in the process of installing a set of 33PWK's and boss intake on my bike, but i noticed that one carb sits lower than the other. :ermm: i tried switching them around but no matter which side its on one of the carbs still sits lower than the other. i'm wondering if this is normal? have you guys noticed this with your carbs? if so, which side should sit lower, or does it matter? thanks, Alec.
  5. welcome to the club!

  18. you should be able to take the surface rust off, the blueing and also polish them up one time completely. the next time you want or need to take surface rust or blueing off then you'll have to buy another thing of it.
  19. never said you COULDN'T ride them the same places you could a 4stroke, just meant that a 4stroke would be better because of the torque. you COULD ride a 4stroke in a straight line and the dunes but it wouldnt work as well as a banshee (IMO).
  20. if its just surface rust and not pitting then i would go with some stuff called Blue Job. shit works wonders. with a little elbow grease it will take the surface rust, bluing and yellowing on pipes off and shine them up reall nice too. looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLUE-JOB-CH...VehicleQ5fParts comes in a small amount but it works awesome.
  21. banshee = wide open trails, straight line racing and dunes 4stroke = tighter trails and mx
  22. haha, thats some funny shit.
  23. yeah bro, she looks a lot better now! now for the rears................haha just playin.
