  1. that title gave my hopes up. was pretty funny stuff though.
  2. adjustable timing plate, cool head or milled stock head, and aftermarket filter then i would say suspension. and stick with stock carbs for trails otherwise you'll lose a little bottom end.
  3. im thinkin wacko meant the single piece boss intake (singular not plural) with the built in x-over tube. seein as how you already got seperate boss intakes just get some reed spacers.
  4. and ill spot you a couple when you get off trinity's.
  5. from my understanding a cub is basically a cylinder that comes drag ported and the only kind of port you can do to them is a clean up port......could be wrong though. if you are wantin that much power and your ridin trails you could go with a trail ported stock cylinder 4 mill.
  6. all i have to say as my final words to you in this post is, just look at the fact that there are thousands of people that belong to this site and only one has stuck up for trinity and other "big name builders", and odds are he is basing his opinions of them on how they build his yfz and not banshees. also, as i mentioned in one of my first replies to you, the best thing to do is to call a couple of builders and talk to them. they will or atleast should(depending on who you call) be able to tell you exactly what you need for the riding you do. A-fuckin-MEN to that.
  7. so angel ripper, who built your 421 cheetah? is it one of your precious big name builders or a no namer?
  8. haven't seen 'em build a decent drag bike yet. and they can thank the riders for the pikes peak wins.
  9. these big name builder might be good for 4strokes but they just dont know shit when it comes to 2strokes or atleast banshees. i found this on Alba's site. scroll down to the 67.9hp 400cc stroker kit! :: heres a direct quote from them," This is the most power we have tested from a normally-aspirated Banshee". are you serious? under 68hp with a stroker, 34mm pj's, cool head, reeds, timing plate and filter? yeah, thats a joke. for some reason im not thinkin trinity's 421 kit is gonna be much better. :geek: now, im not sayin these companies CANT build decent bikes, im just sayin the "small name" builders are BETTER.
  10. port it, get an adjustable timing plate and either get a cool head or have the stock head milled to up your compression.
  11. sounds like your next step would be getting your cylinders ported. the kind of port you get depends on what kind of trails you ride. wide open or tight and technical? you can squeeze some good power out of a good port job with a good builder. if i were you i would call a couple builders ( such as kevin at Herr jugs racing or jeff at F.A.S.T) and talk to them, tell them what kind of riding you do and what you want out of your bike and they will hook you up. whatever you do try and stay away from "big name builders" such as trinity, alba, duncan, etc. when you pay them to do the work you're paying for the name.
  12. waste of cash. trinity sucks donkey dick (no pun intended). what do you have now that isn't fast enough for you? reason i ask is because depending on whats done to that one, we can help you figure out what you will want to do to make this motor faster. also, do you have a budget? heres a list of stuff you should atleast have: aftermarket pipes filter(s) adjustable timing plate cool head or milled stock head reeds
  13. i would probly use a fine steel wool or sandpaper.
  14. dont even get me started, i was watchin a video a while back of a race between a banshee and like a 250r or somethin and some random guy startin talkin about how his " piped and jetted" yfz goes faster than his friends yfz that goes 125+mph. ::
  15. lookin good man. keep us posted with progress.
  16. .............because you wanna see man wang.
  17. stick with stockers, just remove the TORS.
  18. i would suggest an adjustable timing plate and either a cool head or milled stock head. also, as stated i wouldn't throw bigger carbs on your bike 'till you atleast get some portwork. edit: welcome to BHQ.
  19. hahaha. fuckin captain obvious. :yelrotflmao: you need a hug don't you. PM elkaracing_shee i'm sure he can help ya out.
  20. good idea. hahaha.....sorry, i shouldn't laugh at that. ....
  21. haha, whats sad is that i actually knew what loco was talkin about when he said soggy bread. and i'm pretty sure there is a version of the game played with a bisquit, think its called limp bisquit. could be wrong though. . dont ask me how i know this shit.
  22. holy shit man, ever heard of spell check? :shoothead: haha, WTF dude. how have you been a member for so long and don't even ride a banshee!!?? it's not hard to find a cheap banshee. you should be able to find one that needs a little tlc for like 1500-2000 easy.
  23. have you tried lookin for some on ebay. you can get the refurb ones for like $40-$50 a pair (for a break and clutch lever) and they come with a 1 year warranty.
  24. X2. kevin (HJR) did my port work and i couldn't be happier. you should really give them both a call and go with who you feel most comfortable with. as far as what type of port to get, whoever you decide to let port your cylinders will know what will work best for you.
  25. I never call my own bike a shee, i call it my bike. The only time i say shee (which isn't very often) is when i'm on here and i dont feel like spelling out banshee when i'm throwin out a compliment. Sayin shee as apposed to banshee is kinda like saying lol instead of laugh(ing) out loud, it sounds gay when you say it but when youre typing its just easier.
