  2. I dont know about it being a little rigged. I bought it off here and have ran it for a couple months and it has worked alright, I just want to go to something that is going to work on a cub. I can get you some better pictures if you are genuinely interested. But more specifically what do you want?
  3. Either the air cleaner or the intake that bolts to the 2 into one. I have not taken it off the bike yet but if you are interested i can pull it off tommorow and get you some cleaned up pictures.
  4. Thats the life of a banshee owner, But I did buy a cascadee swingarm today as well as a new x ring chain and sprockets so thats covered either way.
  5. Yea after making a few phone calls to redline racing and talking to brandon at wildcard I think im gonna stick with stock cylinders for now it is gonna cost more than double the cost of the cylinders to do it right and if im not gonna do it right ill pay for it later.
  6. I am kinda torn now, I want my bike to haul by I also want it to be reliable which i guess is always the factor with these. I may just get my stockers rebuilt and ported aggressively and call it a day. Its just fun to have something different i suppose. I have the pipes, coolhead, and started ordering things from cascade today. But I am starting to second guess myself.

So...I have been tossing the idea around for a while, My banshee needs the topend rebuilt but I am kinda leaning towards putting a cub together, so i have seen these topics before but have searched for a while trying to dig one up so i figured id just ask. What am i going to need to have to make this successful? I was thinking 392 cub, 30mm cubs, modded shift star, slingshot lockout, I am putting this on a stock crank which is what i am a little worried about. Also, I am curious how these motors hold up to duning?

  12. 86-88 was the years they ran the turbonator in place of the carb and they hauled! :happy:
  13. Stock for 81-85 was a 35 keihin round slide, 89-89 was 34pj, A 250r will never idle low ever it seems, I know mine had a air leak and would not idle period due to the extra air getting in. I would do a leakdown test and if that checks out move the needle down ive never moved mine from the middle except when i go 4000 feet plus. The needle does effect alot on these things. It sounds like a air leak though. sorry to ramble on.
  14. could be a broken reed, dirty/clogged jets maybe just messed up jetting.
  15. The 84 carbs are garbage. Get on Ebay buy one from a 86-89 and it will be fine.
  16. They should work If your measurements are correct. I believe those Fox shocks have a inch or tow in adjustment up or down. So depending on were it is adjusted to you may be able to fet pretty close to stock ide height. If they are to tall You could get some lowering blocks for the front end which relocate were the bottom of the shocks bolts to your a arms. But make sure you measure em out well.

  18. 175 shipped on all three shocks this is a great deal for anyone who wants to upgrade your suspension and doesnt mind losing a inch or so ground clearance!
  19. Sounds like a possible float issue. Maybe try adjusting the floats?
  20. Im not too picy but I was looking for a set of carbs as my floats on the stockers were crapping out on me. but I am open to other banshee related Items.
