  1. Moving the needle down made a huge difference on my bike last week when I was their. (move the clip up to move the needle down) I ended up moving it as far down as I could and it ran alright w/o messing with main jets.
  2. PT's SOLD!!!! These are great shocks, would be great for someone getting into dragging, hillshooting, flattracking, or just recreational duning. The frons are only like a inch in a half shorter than stock and the rear is like 2 inches shorter. They are literally brand new!
  3. PM returned and Trade Pending.
  4. I would go to the Florence dunes or winchester Bay. They are pretty leniant unless you are really loud. I also believe they honor other states registrations.
  5. The Pt mids are absouloutley beautiful. Triple chromed and in very good condition a few scratches from melting my pants onto them and I got it off but it left very small scratches. The silencers are fatboy 2's with blue end caps and they are both polished to a shine. I also have some really nice 300ex shocks for the front completely rebuilt for a banshee cannot be recognized as 300ex shocks. Completely adjustable as well. I have a rear R6 shock that was built the same way also fully adjustable. Will get pictures monday. For the pipes I want 375 shipped to the lower 48 states. For the complete set of shocks I want 225 shipped to the lower 48 states. I will also trade the pipes for t-5's, tr6's, or some in frame drag pipes.(Cpi or Shearer) Pm me if you want any specific pictures and I will get back to you. Paypal is [email protected] and add 3% if you would.
  6. Poorboy dont get me wrong I love the bottom and mid range of the PT's but St. ANthony prooved to me that you need to run a banshee for what they are built for high rpms and top end power. I couldn't pull any of the huge dunes in anything more than second because it was the only gear I could build higher rpms in. I am getting it ported but I am trying to make a decision on the pipes I want to get it ported to. So far the info is as I expected and I will see what my builder says and go from their.
  7. 33s are not going to be too much for a stock stroke bike? I figured 28's would be a modest improvement without overcarbing. It is not a 85hp + motor. I for one was also leaning towards t5s. But I rode a super fast bike this week at st. anthonies w/ tr6s which from my understanding perfromed best with stock ports? Thanks so far for the input.
  8. I got back from st. anthony and choke cherry and the other huge dunes made me seriously question the setup of my banshee. I am running a fairly stock bike/ Paul Turner Mid Ranges, Stock Carbs, Pods, Carbon Fiber Boysens, And a cool head with 20cc domes. I am looking to build a motor to run on pump gas and porting will happen this winter. I formerly had CPIs and hated the power range of all top end. I also think I went to the other extreme with the low end of the Paul Turners. So as a builder or someone eith some experience with how pipes are effected by porting which pipes would you reccomend? t-5's tr6's any other? I also had some severe issues with the stock carbs IE float sticking and just general puking of fuel. I was thinking 28 pwks or 30mm okos. Once again what would compliment a dune port? Thanks in Advance for the Advice.
  9. Well I do not think he is too rich nessascarily I run 420's in a stock stroke dune ported bike with PT mids on it. The plugs and how your motor is running will tell you how rich or lean you are. Even in the same town all my buddies bikes set up similar to mine are all jetted differently.
  10. probly in the neighborhood of 4 to 5 times the amount depending on the damage.
  11. But you still need to mix oil into it. (I think thats what your question is pinpointing)
  12. You can run it and it will be fine but your gains will Be minimal unless you crank up your compression and timing. I also would not swi=tch ratios run a happy medium all the time. I know my banshee doesnt like race gas unless I at least change domes to use the different combustion characteristics.
  13. You Can run any fuel you set your bike up for. No it does not come premixed. And Why would you only run it for one night? you may as well run what you always run!
  14. dune Port Cameron at Redline Racing, Came highly reccomended and I do not regret it one bit he knows his stuff and the thing runs hard.
  15. 1. I would but you can get it to work without you just better have a spare in case it snags something. 2.depends on sprocket size I added 5 for a 14 in front and 4 for a 13 in front. 3. I ran a stock shock for a bit it worked fine but it was a recently recharged and rebuilt shock set to the hardest setting . So it depends on how soft you can handle it being.
  16. Why koolguyson do you have the say in who a good cuilder is and who isnt? If the guy bought his motor from cascade and is happy with it good for him. If I want to buy a motor off of ebay and am happy with it good for me. It is not up to you who I or anyone else is going to have build there motor.
  17. how did it run? it is normal to have fuel residue on your plugs
  18. no response...sounds like albas terrific customer service!
  19. Throw those pipes on jet it and run it! changing pipes rarely makes you change fuel types.
  20. http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/newlook/ Is the link to their website. Cascades number is on their too! I think the buffed mohawks are 209.00 on wheels.
  21. My advice is dont do it. If you still want to do it what tools do you plan on using and how aggressive do you plan on going. Realize porting is expensiveish' for a reason because most builders have taken many years to aqquire the skills they have to ensure your motor is going to run well when it is done.
  22. Cascade has great pricing on all skat trak products give them a call. They for a fact have buffed mohawks.
