  1. Looks Great. I know when i put some custom built 300ex and r6 shocks on my bike and it sits LOW but i know it has not caused me any major issues.
  2. I am pretty sure tors have the ability to make it act up as well check the parking brake and make sure it is completely disengaged at the handlebars.
  3. i run pt ids and i do not think they would just bolt on but with a little modification they should be fine, the reason i do not think they will bolt right on is because the pt mids and the fatboys silencers have a piece in betweent them that they both slide over like a intermintent piece? if you understand my babble
  4. It'd Probably be alright but the straight up and down of the shocks is going to make a rough ride IMO
  5. would it have not been easier to put in a law simialr to oregons that makes sure children must properly fit there quad that way even if the parent wants there 8 year old to ride a banshee there gonna get one hell of a ticket. I for one am glad the way oregon is making laws maybe if the idiots running this country would think about what was working in the states they govern they could make more educated decisions.
  6. Depending on the trails pods might be ok...If you are ever tempted to go through large puddles of water though you may want to not get pods.
  7. I love my cascade ones but they are a pita to get on but the seal is great.
  8. Will split them up? if so how much for the hangers? shipped to 97701
  9. As far as i could tell the timing is not +4 but i know in a 300 ft race against my 250r with a pilot 410 top end on it we are meeting up at the end and my 250r is about 65 Hp so it is running well. I kinda think you could be correct on the oil seperation but i mixed a gallon today after draining my tank mixed it as best as i could and agitated it and ran it and the plugs darkened up a bit, I also had a small gas leak coming from the right side carb bowl that i fixed which could have been a small air leak I doubt it though. Thanks for the help guys I think Im gonna run it and if I blow it up Ill go to a cub top end
  10. I will keep messing with it and see if i can figure out what is going on thanks for the input, so are 420's way to big in your opinion or could they be close? this is my first banshee but nowere near my first hotrod so I do not know were a baseline would be?
  11. It is 93
  12. I run premium non ethanol I bought the bike and it was setup with Cpi's instead of the PT's Midranges and it always ran like crap so i traded the cpi's for the Pt's and it runs leeps and bounds better than it did before i never looked at the ports or anything i just had always assumed it was stock porting but then i went to rejet it for 3500 feet so i could ride it around my house and saw the 430's I threw in the 420's and it runs great but I do not like how the plugs look, The reason I ruled out air leak was the fact that it was running rich. meaning that if you can get it to run rich then a air leak would have to me miniscule and would still pass a leak down test with 1 psi a miinute being lost, I know that on my 250r I had a bad air leak I could jump up 10 jet sizes and it would still run lean so it may be that I am looking at it all wrong I guess ill dig into it some more and look for possible air leaks, What are the normal places that air leaks occur on a banshee I checked the boots I also checkd the O rings in the head and the base gaskt the is no vissible leaks and i sprayed then with carb cleaner there was no change in rpms.
  13. I ran a 430 in it when i Rode it at sea level the plugs looked great, I brought it home to 3500 Feet and it was rich Obviously so i decided to drop a size on the main jet and see were it stood, well it ran the best the bike ever has but when i did a plug check they looked like the pictures I took...I do not know for 100% if it is ported or not, But I would thikn that if it shows a black wet plug with the 430's in it that rules out a air leak but I do not know for sure. I was just a little suprised to see that size of jet in there as well that is why I came and posted and see if you guys had some input that may lead me in the right direction. I may have to tear into it to see if it is ported or not and check piston conditions.
  14. How is it running? If it runs decent enough id leave it a little fat that way there is room for error or weather changes and elevation changes
  15. Is this bike completely stock other than the carb? Is it just a single carb? Pipes, elevation, weather conditions, air box modifications? all of this plays a role in properly jetting your bike
  16. Maybe Ill just toss the 430's back in there and let it run a bit rich
  17. Wow thats what I thought I did a leakdown test and nadda that is why I am not sure what is happening I will continue my search into this I am stumped BTW I am running 40:1 golden spectro
  18. Am I missing something that is seen as pertinent information? any input would be nice.
  19. BTW I am at 3500 feet
  20. I ran 10 paddle haulers on 10 inch wheels on a stock arm and it was fun but the front end was very light at most times.
  21. bump
  22. I am running completely custom valved 300ex front shocks and a valved rear r6 shock it is alot stiffer than my stock rear and it slides for days so it could work very well for you.
  23. So the plug type is a BR8ES and I cannot spell standstill
  24. Banshee Mods- PT midrange pipes K+N pods Cool Head 20CC domes Port-Unknown could be stock Carbs-Stock No Tors Main Jet-420 Weather-45* Runs great I have tried 430 but the plug is black with the 420 it is black on one side light tan on the other bottom of the threads are clean pictures might be able to show you what I am jabbering about. They are the same plug taken at the saem time both sides have the identical plug more or less.
  25. being rich on your mains usually makes it start easier when it is cold then harder as it heats up.
