    I agree they are starting to become bastards. I have been to all the field meetings and everything and they are taking it a little overboard. I wasnt siding witht them I was just stating what I learned from one of the field meetings.

    Not that compression is a major issue I would run premium in that bike. 340 seems to be close to what that bike needs maybe bigger. Just do plug chops and get it dialed in.

    there are actually like 4 chutes in that area now that all come out close to each other. People are cutting these new trails all the time and that is what is pissing the forest service off. unfortuneately. They are alot of fun.

    does it have a billet basket? the walking you are describing could be caused by deep grooves in the clutch basket not letting the clutch to disengage.

    mine is installed washer,bearing, washer and yes the jamnut goes outside the pressure plate.

    Did you check your plugs? 300 sounds lean especially if in fact thee is some porting.

    Hmm...I kind of disagree I run 33pwks and the fit near the pods sucks. They are a good pipe but they are huge and in the way of everything. I do not know about the shearers though. Never ran a set so they could be worse I suppose but youll want to get more opinions I hope.

    I loved my PT mids and If i was building for low end thats what I would use.

    Hmm...I know on my 392 cub we went down a few pilot sizes. But it might be because of it being a more efficient port layout.

    I have heard plastic are better but I love the modquad billet one I haave it is a really nice piece.

    I think I would leave the power valve it will give you easier launches and open up towards the end.

    Go up to a 300 main in it and work from there...may need a little more or less jet Because I am guessing you are at like 3500-4000 feet elevation. as for needle jet probly like a 389Q2. this is close to what I am running on my stock stroke cub so you should be on the safe side.

    another question... what brand of carb is it keihin and mikuni use different jet sizes. if it is a keihin 200's would be enormous and if it were mikuni's 200's would be small...

    It did fit all together but I have a beatiful noise coming from under my clutch cover now.
