  1. Post pics here. I have some stock a arms and mohawks and might be interested if RZ backs out.
  2. Those are some crazy looking rear tires. I like the flat black plastics. Put the zombie pic in your sig on the side of the tank
  3. Congrats man. I saw you postin on DF about it. I bought my 05 about a year and a half ago and I love it. I replaced those mirrors with the new style ones and leveled them and its way better. I was even able to sell the accordian ones on DF and cover the majority of the cost
  4. He's butthurt that his mustang got called a "shopping cart" in his other thread.
  5. Case halves are made to match each other. You shouldn't separate them.
  6. Pull your plugs and look at the color, if its lean its going to cause way more problems. But the bike being lean or rich isn't causing you to suck up fuel that fast. It has to be leaking somewhere. Check your float levels like stated before. If you turn the gas petcock on, does it drip out any of the tubes hanging below the bike?
  7. Your compression is borderline high for running pump gas. If I remember right, at 160ish you want to run race fuel to prevent it from detonating on you. Or you can drop your compression by going a size bigger on your domes. Here's a thread on measuring your dome size if they aren't stamped. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=148752&st=0&p=1283665&hl=+measure%20+dome&fromsearch=1entry1283665
  8. Im not a fan of the mohawks. I have them on my bike right now, and they don't seem to grip very well. I've tried out the sand stars before and they grip a lot better. The Kendas do good too.
  9. if the stock cylinders arent ported for a 4 mill, its not going to run well. They will either need to be ported or they make spacer plates that mount under the cylinders to correct your port timings. A longrod crank uses different pistons with the wrist pin move up higher. Theres several different monoblock cylinders, most common is called a cub cylinder. Theres a version of cub thats called a serval cub which you might look into for trail use. Stock heads use a gasket, aftermarket ones use o-rings.
  10. Who made the compression tester?
  11. Also your stock carbs would probably be fine with just a port job.
  12. Use a meter and check your coil and wires. Coils hardly ever go bad, its more likely somewhere else in your wiring if your having spark issues.
  13. It runs from the petcock on the tank and into a T, down to each carb.
  14. damn thats good to know, especially since I weld almost daily. Is this solely brake cleaner or is carb cleaner the same?
  15. Wish I was going.. thanksgiving is a crazy week out there.
  16. Those are similar to these Fasst Flexx Bars
  17. Theres another thread around here somewhere about these.. It's on my list of things to buy
  18. If in fact your cylinders can't be ported for a 4 mil, then you could run a spacer plate instead of buying new cylinders, although I wouldnt recommend it.
  19. Cases don't need to be trenched for a 4 mill.
  20. drain the radiator before you take it off...
  21. Paul Turner pipes? I know they are completely different than your average pipe but they would probably take up the most room around the chassis.
  22. Try moving your needle clip down one spot.
  23. I ohmed it as described in the clymer manual and it read fine, but I should have time tomorrow to fix it finally. It's been a hectic week
