throw it on reserve and run it. if your already on reserve then throw some gas in it. you can always drain it back out again.

well the guy i bought the bike from had the pods on it already so i dont have the stock airbox to use. ive seen some pretty cheap on ebay so i might pick one up from there

ive had problems with my pod filters falling off while riding. usually not on hard landings, mine tend to just vibrate themselves off during a ride. i havent seen any brackets for them, but you could fab something up yourself. I am working on getting an airbox for mine so i dont suck in anymore sand

I probably wont race any. My shee isnt built up all that much, just pipes reeds and a k&n right now. One of the guys in our group has a pretty built yfz 450 that could beat some im sure.

Damn. Ill be out there Nov. 7th - 15th probably. missed you by a couple weeks. we camp at the washes, usually back around 17 though. i think we will have 7 shees there and various other thumpers.

hmm. i heard that the dmc set has a nice midrange/top end powerband. As of right now i dont really plan on doing any porting. I had an 86 atc 250r that trinty racing did some porting work on and after that it blew up everytime i started it.

Considering getting the DMC alien pipes for my shee. I saw them at the Sand Sports Super Show in Costa Mesa last weekend and they seem really nice. I currently have FMF SSTs on it, K&N pod filters, Vforce reeds, no porting on it. Everything else is pretty much stock. I ride pretty much exclusively in the dunes at glamis, and not really concerned about hill shooting, im more of a duner. Has anyone had any experience with both pipes? Are the DMCs better? If so, is it a big enough difference to justify the price? Thanks for any info.
