  1. what i have allways done is tap on the back of the ball joint while trying to tighten nut. some times it works. i have also put a bottle jack under the joint and lift up a little, then tighted the nut.
  2. HYPERTECH makes one of the worst chips out there. the engine light will come on all the time, and it will make some trannys shift weird. ive had good luck with superchips and BANKS.
  3. the manual calls for a 5N7-3
  4. sidewinder racing makes some good cain lube that does not fly off. they claim the chain will last longer using their chain lube because its not sticky like other brands and thefore dirt and sand wont stick to chain, which wears it out faster. i have a couple of cans and love it.
  5. for 9 bucks you can buy a tusk ratcheting wrench . they are cheap and work good http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...odFamilyId=9501

  8. i would reccomend kevin herr with hjr racing, he just did some port work for me. very nice guy and easy to deal with.
  9. yeah kevin is a great guy, he just ported some jugs for my wifes bike. i was happy with the outcome, hes very honest and helpfull. and he knows his stuff. i would highly reccomend kevin with hjr racing
  10. i have trinitys 400 cub and like it, but my opinon is they are dumbasses. dont know their ass hole from their elbow. just salesman, i get different jetting info every time. one guy will say one thing and another something totaly rediculious. i get so pissed off at them i just dont got to them for advise anymore. call cascade innovations, talk to chris or tim they know there stuff and are very nice, they will acctualy talk with you and show an interest in your problem. trinity just trys gettin you off the phone so they will say what ever it takes to hang up. 5 years ago they were on top of things and were helpfull. now they just higher these asshole salesman. thats my two cents worth, im shure allot of people out there deal with trinity, but not me
  11. good to hear they are standing behind there product and giving you a replacement.
  12. meat head did a nice rite up on polishing http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...=polishing+jugs
  13. i herd its a good idea to get a clutch for my carbs, gives it more throttel response... lol
  14. they make a alunimum bracket that bolts to the bottom of the front shock and moves the shock down the a arm about 2inches or so which lowers the front. in the back they make a piece that bolts to the lower shock mount and gives you a couple of holes to chose from heres a pic of one on my shee
  15. ive got some 20's and 22's pm me if interested
  16. no problem, let me know what they say.... cause i have two bikes running their impellers and i am courious as to what they think caused it. i dont see anything other then a manufacturer error. like what was said above, that a plastic gear should of givin before a billet part does.
  17. pro design 714-534-0620 i beleve they are in sothern california
  18. if thats a pro design you should call them up and have them send you a new one. thats rediculous, their selling point its it wont break like the stock ones. ive been running stock impelllers for years and just reccently switched over to pro designs billet impeller. im gonna be one unhappy camper if myne breaks. its a good thing you cought it, i didnt know you can even see the water flow, where do ya check it at?
  19. i though its whats on the inside that counts? lol those look sweet, did cascade do those? they did my pts and i gotta say i have never seen aything chromed like that before.
  20. ive got simmalr setup with single carb and im running 50 pilot, 1 and a half turns out on pilot screw and i also took idle screw all the way out and cut the spring down so it would lift the slide more.
  21. thanks for the link, i was lookin for a site to get jets from
  22. here are some pics of my stuck in coos bay two weekends ago. i had to break off branches and had to keep rolling up the hill unitl i could get a jump at it. i was stuck in a v where two hills came together
  23. thanks for the info. i just got rid of the pro circut i had, i was told to run pts on my cub. i dont know enogh so this is trial and error for me. im headin back up there in setember, so i am tring to get all the imput i can. i wish i had high speed so i can see those vidos you took. dial up sucks, i tried to watch it but it would only play 2 or 3 seconds of it then stop
  24. i have a set of luber jacks 22 8 paddels, but i would be sunk up to the swing arm all the way up hills. they were like shovels and just dug me holes, so i bought the paddel masters. what is the ideal setup, tires and gearing? my wife will try any hill we find out there and her bike is setup same gearing and tires as mine. i just sent her cyclnders into keven to have a dune port done, and i will be putting pts mids on her bike. she seems to have more problems climbing hills then i do, so i was wondering what i could do to help her sheeee out. it will have kevins dune/ hill shot port, 18 cc domes, singel 35 pwr, advanced timing 6, 110 race gas, pt mids. and the gearing is stock sprocket in front and the 45 in rear. she is allso running 20' padell master. thanks for any imput jeremy
  25. i dont know about a holiday weekend but normaly its a free forall. i have never done it but see people do it all the time. i was there 2 weekends ago and it seemed every time i turned around i was blasting threw someones camp. you can allways call the koa off 101 in north bend, or right next to the koa is a huge parking lot with a building called mirtel wood i beleive. both places you can ride right to the dunes from your camp. as far as camp site nubers on the sand, i have never seen any but i could be wrong. i do know you are required to have an oregon dunes permit for your rig as well as a flag. that is what a ranger told me. there is also a road called sand road out in the dunes and i see people caming on that all the time. they just find a spot out of the way and set up camp.
