yeah, it looks like all you would need to do is weld a slag near the bottom to add some material, the grind/file it flat, then drill, and tap. I guess you would need a screw/bolt with a short shaft too.
I don't have a welder so I just bought mine...
I'll order some stuff before the next trip for sure.
are you guys running different carbs or porting? Cus I'm just riding her with a few strap ons.....
If I had some loot I'd love PT mids, +2 swinger and a nice shock to match. Maybe after the wedding and building the garage at my new place. Damn priorities keep messing up with my toys
What do you think would be a good starting place for 22" tires??
I'm at 13/44 now and it's got great snap for the tight technical stuff but for the long steep hills I'm bouncing the front end up quite a bit. Last year I hit a rock on a steep hill climb and the front end went up so fast that it flipped me on my face. So I'm guessing that if I raise my gearing a little it might help out for the longer stretches.
I only ride mountain trails, I'm 200lbs with just bolt on's listed in the sig and with 22" tires.
What do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure I'm at 13/44 now and it's got great snap but I'm shifting alot.
I really only ride mountain trails and don't have porting just the bolt ons listed in the sig
you should search the suspension forum, that question has replaced the boost bottle threads for the most asked
and there are some detailed comparisons with pictures in there, the top pinned one is a pretty good one too
hit the water and shut off.... that happened to me and I couldn't figure it out, so I water proofed the electrical as best as I could and removed the TORS.
Hasn't died yet... knock on wood
I had a couple offers but for front shocks....
does anyone have a rear spring or rear shock that is sprung for a 200lbs guy on a stock swingarm?
thanks
I'm 200 lbs on a stock swingarm and my rear shock is super soft...
Does anyone have one that would be close??
Race tech's recommended Spring Rate: 7.13 kg/mm
doesn't have to be spot on
Dead thread revival!
So I welded a nut to a bolt and dropped it down and impacted the crap out of it without any luck.....
Does anyone know how I could get this out???? Tips Hints
Also can someone confirm that this is a standard or reverse threaded nut?
Thanks again
