But that is one main reason why my group is not doing any major weekends anymore. So ill be out there the weekend before Halloween. Let me know if anyone will be out there the same time. Im going to try to have my banshee out there depending on if I can get these Lectrons put on and tuned in.

Matt, So what is this that you are willing to pay for some time? Not no hand ski's from you I hope:rotflmao: Yeah I keep seen those shocks on scooters and pit bikes for up grades. Do people not know that the shocks need to have fresh oil put in at the min. Now that I have learned that process, I will be changing mine every year after dunes season. So easy after you get the hang of it. I think I made my charging system for around $60 from left over paintball gear that im not using anymore. But I have to send in my Compressed Air tank and get it hydro tested do to it has been sitting for some time.

I have the trail tech lights on my raptor. They are bright. But not worth the money now that you can buy and HID kit for the stock placement for around 30-40 shipped. Just wish I could put some HID's on my banshee. Also I have had many many probs with the trail techs. I at least send them in once again because the ballast go out. I think I have Generation #5 or 6 now. But have heard good stuff on the helmet lights. I have the VisonX light bar on my rhino which turns night into DAY. -
I just cut 4 deg's in my stock one. Saved me some coin.

You can't email him. I have sent him an email over 2 months ago and still waiting. So I justed called him and 5 mins later I had the needles on their way. Got them in 4 biz days

I dont run any of my bike with fuel filters and have never had a prob. I also use painter screens when im out at the dunes to help keep sand from falling/blowing in. If it can pass the filter in the tank then it deserves to get to the carbs. -

well we can start with how much are you looking to spend. Because you can spend well over 2k just on the front if you want.

If it is up in the Higher RPM IE at WOT then it is the Mains. see if you can list all the mods, elevation and temp. Then it will be easier to help find out if the jetting is in the area.

pop the rad cap and look inside and see if it needs to be cleaned out. While you are there. Start the motor and see if you can see the water moving around min the vibrations. -
let the bike idle and get a can of carb cleaner. Lightly spray each area from the jugs back and see if the idle will change. 340's on stock jugs seems really high. You might have an air leak.

I have ran the Works Pro and Elkas Dunes. I know Matt can valve the shit out of some shocks and has helped me greatly on helping me rebuild my shocks. And when I get to meet him in person he will get some drinking from me. Here is the story on why I dont like Works. I had the Pro Series 3-way adjustable damping piggyback shocks with triple-rate spring on my raptor. They worked great for the trials for when I had gotten them. Sent Works the rear shock to have it revalved. What a big mistake that was. I had sent them back the shock 3 different times because the valving was always to soft. Had them put my stock piston set up back on and havent looked back. Went to the dunes and rode them for about 45 mins and the shocks started to fade. I mean this is some fast duning with jumping. Get off quad and the shocks are HOT. Called Works and sent them back to have them fix what ever they need to do. Month later, go them back and finished the dunes season with the same damn prob happening. Moved to Elkas Dune Edition with compression and rebound adj with triple rate spring. They have been right from the day the package got to my door. After 3 years of hard duning I just now rebuild them. Went for a ride not to long ago and just like new. I now have 4quads that have elkas, 2 with the pogo's and 2 with the dunes edition, and a LT rhino with elkas. I have yet to try other brands of shocks and I would love to. But I dont have pockets to keep trying different things. I wish I would have known Matt awhile back and would have sent him the works shocks and not back to the factory. All in all. Im happy with Elka and not with Works. Not with the shocks, but with the customer service I got. I have a buddy I ride with that had the same works shocks I had and has great luck with them. And still has them.

Porting is the money maker for these bikes. All I can say is why did I wait so long to get my jugs ported. Well the truth was is I was trying to make the rest of the dunes season till one of my pod filters came off and burned a hole in one of my pistons. But the bike is what it really should have been from the factory!. No more wishing I had just a little more power. Now its why didnt I put a stroker kit in it while I was there. The shit is addicting. But if your still running the lid, then that would be the biggest improvement right now is to open the air box and rejet.

I got my needles coming from Packard Racing. Just gave him the motor, elevation and temps and WHAM. New needles on the way. Im running 34 with pj's and soon to be 4-2 needles at 51.8mm starting point.
