Thanks for the info. How did you set up the remote idle screw for them? If it is an alky needle then I guess Ill be going to alky sooner then I was thinking:headbang: But I have another ? to add on that. It is set up for a single PJ feed line. I know I have seen where they can add two lines and others have just one line with a two setting PJ. Hope this makes sense to you guys. Is there anything else that they need to know as for whats on the inside of the bowls? I Think they are set up for gravity. Ready dont know much about these carbs and the history. Got a screaming deal on them so thats why I jumped. $180 for both.

Ok so here is the deal. I need to make sure I have to right needle and starting point for my bike with these carbs on GAS for now and maybe later on this year for Alcohol. Bike Stock Stroke .50 over bore. Aggressive dune porting. CPI inframes Elevation 1117ft Temps - Umm F'n HOT 90-110 for right now. The needles in the carbs are LECTRON #16-4 Where can I get my Lectron needs? I know of Packard, Fast by Gast and Lectron Fuel Systems. I would rather have the guys on here help! Thanks

I ment it as the fact if we ever get off are asses and lock the boarder down. And no it wouldn't be illegally becuase they will be breaking the law and I look at boarder crossers as a threat! But do u live on a boardering state having to deal with the crossers

Whats funny is I have been to shitty places and back. After what I have seen and done in my past; I say we just set up snipers ever mile out and have a shooting fest. Much much cheaper in the long run! I can say this. When they come up to the boarder and see others cut in half, missing limbs or a head. They will turn around. It is easy to mark a line with IR lights. So when they cross this line. BOOM!!! That .50cal will cut a man in half. Have seen in first hand and it is not funny one bit. The wall is not working... Now they are just digging under. Well now the new INTEL is they are now using the water to do their lovely shit. I for one will be the first to sign back up on contract for the fight on boarder wars vs mex. I look at it as that the person coming over could be coming here to make a bomb, VBIED, or fly another damn plane.

Well then all you need is a phillips head and a 6mm short socket. What are the mods that are done to the bike. And how is the intake set up on the bike. If we can get that info along with your temp and elevation then we can get you close to where you need to be at for jetting. But you will have to jet it for summer and for winter if you wanting to be easy on jetting. I jet mine prob about almost every time I go ride because the temps are always 20-30deg from the last time I jetted it. But it is cake and only takes about 5mins per side for the 1st time with the air box still on. You will find out why everyone hates the stock carbs and bowls. You would have thought after the first year or so they would have put a carb bowl on with the 17mm nut on the bottom for easier jetting. Nope.

If you have no top end then your jetting is off. I could get my Fatty's to flat out scream!

Did you do the tors kit or did you leave it? Unplug the black box under the tank if you still have it. Just another food for thought.

Here is what I tell people. If you dont like it, then dont be behind me. Or keep your distance. I know the stock one is not that bright. I went to the auto store and got a side marker 3 led light and is much brighter then the stock one. Or if you want a cheaper way so people can see you. I take my $10 head lamp from walmart and put it on my helmet backwards on the RED led setting. Gives them another light to see at night when im duning on my banshee. Also helps if someones head lights go out they can use the head lamp to help see or the dirt bikes get back home when the sun goes down. Also another reason why I carry a cheap head lamp is to see when something breaks at night so we can fix it or get it back to camp some how.

Are u talking about the ones off Ebay? If so. They are great tires... I have had them for three years of dune riding and my brother has had his for 4 years of dune riding. Never have had prob with them. They might not be the lightest out of all the haulers but they are light. I have a set of true haulers and the only weight diff i can tell is from the different thickness of rims that I run. Better then he molded type paddles.

I had a big time prob tuning my raptor in last dune season. Found out that the O-ring inside the carbs for the choke mec was bad. It was causing it to run crazzzzzybanghead. Only took me two weeks of messing with the carbs. I had also just put a rebuild kit in and that was the only part that didnt come with the kit.
