  1. i guess it was pre ignition but i guess it still raises the question why does the bike run hotter with fouled plugs and overheats
  2. fresh rebuild it didnt even hsve the chain on it or i would have just poped t in gear and killed it but we know now it was the air leak must have been deseling from the assy lube and the lean mix confused me caus it was runnin so smooth. wasnt makin any unusual noise sounded sweet but was going ape shit
  3. ive got a one lunger thats flooding itself real bad wont even reach top end. its got a carb like a blaster injector,plunger choke etc. ive replaced the main jet, the floats and needle and seat and all o rings and gaskets. little reluctant to just start going small on the jets cause everything is stock. i think its a choke problem what in a plunger choke could cause this. do i need a new plunger or could a passage be clogged
  4. my bike will foul a plug and then it will run fine and you cant even tell but it will overheat and het way hot change the plug ... problem solved any idas?

  6. thersno way the slides were stuck and i kow now there was a pretty massive airleak that has been fixed and it hasent done it since but what i want to know is why it ran after i killed the ignition was it predetination it sounded like someone was holding it wide open not sputtering popping or anythin just waaaaaaaaaaaaa and a litle bit of wtf
  7. just did the whole enging now its together and we started it it idled with the choke on for a while then turned the choke off and the engine started to pick up so i got a screwdriver to ajust the idle then it started predetonating and sounded like it was running fuu throttle. so natrally i shit my pants and ripped the kill switch...didnt die,tore the wires out of the stator...didnt die,pulled of the plug wires...didnt die,tureded of the gas finaly died but it wasent because it ran out of gas. i think she is ok i fixed a air leak and got through a heat cycle or two and it did it again :: could it be predetonating on low octane gas or assymbly lube on the piston ist making a shit ton of compression im not sure everybody in the shop that day was like wtf :shoothead: :shoothead: :shoothead: btw the compression ratio is stock and i know shit ton isnt a good measurement but ill have real compression readings on monday or tuesday this week please help :shrug:

  11. if u melted a spark plug the piston on that side is fubar hate to break it to ya but if u drain ur coolent and pop ur heads off what ul probly find is a piston that is missing alot of matereal, cracked or has a huge hole. not trying to be a dick but ive seen it happen alot i wouldnt even dick with a compression test pull ur top end and see ir you need to bore and get oversise or just hone and replace. its a 2 atroke these things will happen alot. good luck buddy

  15. hey now guys one of my buds is a pus and hes afraid of aftermarket parts diminishing the value of his bansh so is bone stock :beer: and i smoke his ass with my 250R :beer: but on the other hand im no match for a banch with a few mods

  17. my bad i was thinkin backward i like flattrack ya id def try to stay as small in the rear as you can though for clearence id try to pick up 1 or 2 teeth in the front rather than make the rear bigger. from what ive seen small front sprokets tend to start jumping and slipping sooner thatn larger ones. i also dont run a skid so thats another reason i feel this way
  18. thats stupid nobodys gonna break a atv bead like that there just gonna goof up thir car i got a piece of 1 inch solid steel bar hammered flat on one end andi put it in the bead and drive the bead off with a t post driver,,not just a driver from rural king we got a home make one that s heavy as shit and does the work for you

  21. is the dynaport a true2 to 1 like 2 pipes into 1 big silenser, im not gonna lie that sounds retarded when you think about the principals fo a two stroke,because dont they need to have resonence bouncing back and fourth instead of balance like the crossover tube on a motorcycle.? wtf
  22. i belive that tensile strenth is how mutch load you can feesebly put on the chain before you damage it. i.e. stetch wayy to fast and soon,.. or break it
  23. hey would doing a cleanup nad polish on say my stock port r help out or would i need to send it off to get a serios job done to make a noticeable difference. btw when u clean up a port what bits would i need the only tool i have that i think would work is a dremmel like what kind of bit for clean up then what kind of bit for polish
  24. if youve ever seen a blaster or ridden one with stock bald tires with way too mutch air youd know what i mean. and id look about the same. the reason i say blaster is that we are too proud of our sheez to let them have shity tires, blaster people really dont care
  25. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :beer: might go with 20s or 22s and loose a few teeth in the rear probly just me but i hate riding with big tires they catch your leg and drag you off and rub your fenders and cause bouncy issues and they dont drift very well. i like to slide :biggrin:
