id take a compression guage with you and after they run it for you check the compression and then for leaks. and also inspect all bearings swingarm,front wheels,look at suspention buchings. id probly take a small flashlight to look at the top of the pstons through the plug hole to see if they were just rteplaced.

yea its the kz 305 csr in the sig its 1982 the bore is still stock but kawi discontinued the stock ones. i wonder if oversize kz 500 pistons would do it

how mutch do you think wiesco would charge to make a couple pistons for me? the bikes engine is very similar to a honda rebel.- in line twin.

fixing it all the time is the mark of a two smoke and its half the fun id say. if your a good enough mechanic to split the cases yourself then the only thing your risking is having to get a new crank and rebuild the top end. and ya that will cost you your left testicle. take somebody from a dealership or somebody that is good or just your buds to listen to it then make a decision.

whenever i look for parts on ebay i always fins some parts labled NOS. they oviosly have nothing to do with nitrous so what the hell are they talking about? anybody know?

anybody running yamalube any thicker than 32 is gonna foul plugs like a bitch. they may have said 24 when banch first came and oils were shitty out but a synthetic shouldnt be run nearly that thick. i know some of you run thicker than 32 but i dont hink your gaining anything but a bunch of burnt plugs. can you still buy a conventional 2 smoke oil?? keep an eye on your plugs, those jets sound small btw ther is a lot of threads on oil and i think someone put up a jetting chart that you can look at,not trying to be a dick jus lettin ya know.

i got a stock top end set for a 81-84 atc 250r it comes with oem piston,rings,c clips,wrist pin bearing,the only thing you need is a stock size wrist pin from bikebandit, easy to get.everything is completly unused and like new, returns your 81-84 atc or cr 250 of the right year you would have to look it up im not sure, to the stock original parts. great for a bike bieng restored. if you still run a stock bore this is a great deal as a wiesco will cost close to $200 im sellen it all for $50 plus shipping itl have to be a cash transaction or if you have a better way to do it im listening if anyones intrested you can pm me or e mail me at [email protected] im sellen cause i found out im bored .060 over and i cant use them
