Good job. Also, don't worry about spraying fuel in the carbs to fire the bike up. We spray pump gas through the carbs on all of our race motors to start them because race fuel sucks for igniting, especially when it's cold out. +4 on seeing the pictures.

Guys, can you buy the kit to modify your stock cover to accommodate the glass, interchangeable lock up covers? I can machine the outside of my cover down easily, but is there enough meat in there to drill and tap bolts to hold on the cover pieces? Where can I buy the bolt on pieces?

A few things up for grabs: 64.75mm non ported cylinders in pretty good shape. 64.75mm pistons only - no rings stock reeds stock intakes with x-over tube $200 + shipping I am selling them because I am building a 421 cub. I will throw a fresh coat of paint on the cylinders before I ship them out. The cylinders are just sitting on my project bike at the moment, which is why I don't have great pictures of them.

You do know that you can buy brand new, ported Cheetah cub cylinders and pistons for $1075 from HJR, right?

I'd like to, but the only tie rod ends i have are larger than the Banshee rods.....they are for the '06+ YZF450, so I need to find rods that fit those ends, since I recently bought brand new ones for them. Thanks for the help guys.

I installed a yzf450 front end on my shee last year. When I did it, I installed the 450 steering arms that came with the a-arms. They measure 12.25" long. I find that I was out of adjustment on the rod ends, and my wheels were still toed out slightly. I also didn't like how the camber was on the tires, so I picked up a set of YZF450 spindles and hubs. I installed them tonight, and it made the issue worse. I am totally out of adjustment, and I am nowhere near having my wheels straight. I am beginning to think that the steering arms I have are not the 450 arms. Can someone tell me how wide the 450 steering arms are please. Mine are the newer style with the larger threaded tie rods. What steering rods are you guys running?

I have a stock swingarm for sale. I picked up a +4 to run on the bike, so I will not be using this one. It has not been run since powdercoating, and I have installed fresh bearings in it. Excellent condition. It is coated with Wet Black. It is a very dark black that looks glossy all the time. Make me an offer. It does not come with the chain sliders, or the skid plate.

4 mil longrod, or shortrod? Which pistons does this run? Who ported the cylinders? How heavy are they ported? Did you dyno this top end?

Here's what I was asking in the PM...... It's hard to tell in the photo's, but what kind of shape is the nikasil in? Is there alot of time on the pistons and rings? Are these ported, or just factory cylinders from Trinity? What is the head volume, CR, and what fuel were you running? What reeds are with this? What size intakes?

They do not help in performance, unless your carbs are out of sync. If your carbs are sync'd properly, a boost bottle will cause you to lose hp.
