  1. I love the rear tires with chisels. How well did this setup work for you on the ice?
  2. Running a 50mm carb would be roughly the equivalent of running a pair of 35's. It would be interesting to see someone actually do this. There aren't too many people who build 50's, and of course you'd have to have a custom manifold made. Grab a billet 48x58.5mm Cutler Performance Center carburetor, and try it out. It would roughly be the equivalent of running a pair of 38's, but are very tuneable. I run 48mm CPC's on my race sled. http://www.cpcracing.com/site/256083/page/190735

I am in need of an oem CDI. I have a garbage rmstator CDI currently, and it's dumping the timing in the mid to upper rpms. PM me with what you have to offer. It MUST be OEM. Thanks.

  9. What rear shock did you have on that +4, and how was it setup? I might be interested if you are selling it.
  10. Agreed, but, I do have to admit that this is probably the nicest looking conversion I have seen.
  11. Pulled off the cover, and still really can't understand how it can be leaking from that area, with a new o-ring in there, so I sealed it all with Ultra-Grey. Problem solved.
  12. This is a Cheetah motor. Thanks for that. Yes, this is a new 421 Cheetah build. I looked at it closer, and you are correct. It does look like it is coming from that o-ring location. There is a brand new o-ring in there, but obviously there is an issue. I'll have to pull the cover to figure out what is going on. Thanks for the tip. That is a pulse line fitting that I installed in case I end up running a fuel pump setup.
  13. I just filled the coolant for the first time after my build, and it appears as though I am having a coolant leak, coming from one of the case studs / nuts underneath the motor. It is leaking from a stud that is threaded into the upper case half, beside the center bearings, and travels through the bottom half. Here is where it is leaking from (yes, I know it's a terrible picture): It looks as though there is a coolant cavity that is between those two studs, and possibly I may have a void in the 3 bond. I can't see what else would cause coolant to leak from there. Here is a picture of the bottom of the upper case half. The stud in question is the lower stud (in the picture), in the center journal. Any input?
  14. PM me a price on the stator cover
  15. Pics of the stator cover to [email protected]. Who built it?

  24. I am unsure what the measurement is for the outside diameter of the bell on the stock carburetors, so I can't tell you if they would work or not.
