Verrrry Intersting, was 9-11 a set up?
Meat replied to sweetshee4312's topic in General Banshee Discussion
How bout it Holyman... did you ever see Bush with his "deer caught in the headlights" look ? And then he stutters and stammers out these replies trying ever so hard to sound smart. I love it when comedians rip on Bush, Will Ferrel does a great Bush impression. One word.... "strategery". And just so ya know H-man.... Im agree'in alot more with you than the others on this subject, I applaud your patience and also agree with J.J.'s comments a few posts before this one. I gave up debating when I saw the "kiss the ring, bitch" and the 50 "kool aid" quotes when someone thinks they're 100% correct all of the time. There are always two sides of every story. Bush says "Kerry voted against a pay increase and additional body armor for the troops", but he fails to say that the bill also included "no bid" clauses for Haliburton. There's a great article in the newspaper this week about what Bush says... and what the real truth is. I'll find it and post it asap. And all you folks not working "pee'on" jobs, you better start learnin' your Chinese. Cause sooner or later...... all American businesses will have to outsource all thier jobs to China to be competitive... not just pe'on jobs. You can count on that. -
I have the same alloyspecialties axle nut for sale. Its cleaned up and has no big nicks taken out of it. Paypal me $25 bucks total and I'll ship it right out.

My 2 cents. man i ran one of them Toomey 2:1 for a few years and they're nifty, but I couldnt hit water like Id like to hit water. If I'd drive through a big puddle id be fine, but if I was bizzin' down the trail and was going to fast to slow down for the big puddle...... id drown out the quad. I ran a waterproof outwear too. If I hit water that it would splash up onto my goggles.... I can almost gaurentee the quad will go right into a bogging fit and sputter and coughs for a half mile. At first I didnt want to beleive it was the open air filter, I was thinking my water bogging might be electrical or something dealing with the Banshee carb slide mystery problem. I would hit a puddle and get splashed pretty good, stop the quad, take off the seat and there's water droplets all beaded up on the Outerwear, pull the Outerwear off and I can feel water in the foam of my filter. SOOOOO..... a few weeks ago I put my ol' airbox back on..... and guess what..... I can hit water all day long and I havent gotten my dreaded bog since the box has been back on. Im running the box without the lid on and with a UNI foam filter just like the Toomey had. The quad definetly is running richer with the airbox on, but I didnt rejet it for the box because of the upcoming colder weather. Now the riding temps are in the mid 60's, low 70's, my main jets are right on, if not a tad rich. There was a power loss, but really honestly not that much. What I did notice was the throttle response seemed more responsive with the airbox installed, almost like it created a better vaccum for the carbs to suck air.

welcome stranger. hows the weather down there ??

My mods... mx porting 404 kit currently on its first bore and is around 392cc's V-force reedcages fmf fattys nosshead with 20cc domes\185psi stock carbs ! my engine's power is not as "abrupt" as it was before the mods, the overall powerband "hit" is a hellava lot stronger than it was when it was stock, but it comes on a little sooner and smoother, hits hard in the middle and its wicked till I start revving it out. My stock carbs, lower gearing and the porting work I had done all limit my top end power, but thats the way I had it setup. I ride the trails and around some small coal breaker riding areas, where I can't really use super high top speed numbers. Rollin' down a nice wide road, and I crack the throttle it will accelerate with the best of em, but its not a drag banshee for sure. Quick throttle response with the small stock carbs and killer V-force cages\reeds. Its a fun motor. I ride mine ALOT, Iv put a ton of miles on this 404 over the past 3 years. I don't ride it during the coldest winter months, but im out at least once a week for 9 months of the years. My compression is 185\175 and Im blowin' some blue smoke outta the lower comp cylinder. I think I might have a stuck ring. There's plenty of compression tho, and she can sit for days and start right up on 2 or 3 kicks. If the big sleeves are installed correctly and you have a good port job done, they're just as reliable as a stock motor. BTW, the vito's 404 uses vito's powerpistons. I think a 4mm stroker would produce a better low end power gain. Iv heard the strokers add mucho torque to the motor...... torque and low end power go hand in hand
-
smokin350 when are you and you buds coming back to ride ? I witnessed smokin350's blue 404 drag racing and winning a hellava lot of races, he was launchin perfect starts in 3rd gear and was (whispers) beating the stroker banshees.

If the buyer is payin with paypal, just tell em to send payment to "Youremailaddress.com". The money will show up in your paypal account. You can then use the money to make purchases, or if you have your bank account info entered at Paypal, you can have Paypal sweep the money into your checking account. If you don't have your banking info setup at Paypal, you can have them mail you a check for the balance in your paypal account. Iv heard alot of people have problems dealing with Paypal. But iv used it over 150 times and Iv never had a single problem. fingers are crossed tho, hope I just didnt jinx myself there.

I bought a big IMS gas tank setup to use a dry break. I got the tank, but I still need the dry break parts. Its a long shot, but does anyone have the IMS dry break peices that they wanna part with ?? by the way, the tank is a 4 gallon tank and its for a 250r, but im pretty sure the dry break parts are interchangable between atv models.

brooke try to be calm. Its healty to ask questions. There's nothing wrong with debating the subject. If you get frustrated just take a deep breath. jim hetfield once said, "open mind for a different view". good thread, keep em comin'. and whats the story on the 3 mile wide mushroom cloud over Korea ?? -
If I could justs through my 2 cents on the "search for it "controversy. I think this thread is the perfect reason why no one should ever reply to a thread with "search for it". It just causes chaos and animosity among the members. The new guy just asked some simple, altho common questions that should have gotten a quick and to the point reply. You must remember, we were all new to this at one time and learned via asking questions. If we condone the asking of questions, then whats the point of coming here.? When you come to a message board to talk about quads\whatever, you come here to interact with others, thats the beauty and the fun of these internet forums. When you ask a question on a subject, its usually because you don't know the answer and you expect your question to be answered. If you wanted to search for your answer, then the poster would have searched, but he didn't, he asked a question on our wonderful forum and should be granted a respectful reply. If you guys insist on just telling people to try a search, then i suggest you phrase it so it doesn't come off as an insult. Try something like.... "lokar, this is pretty popular mod. Look around, you'll find plenty of info." And thus.... avoiding fighting and bickering and the hijacking of a thread. Finally. Lokar. The main advantage of a lightened flywheel is a faster revving motor. The flywheel is mounted on the end of the spinning crankshaft. By shaving off some of the flywheels material, the crankshaft has less mass to spin, allowing the motor to rev faster than with a heavier flywheel. There are disadvantages too. Heavier flywheels will produce a smoother powerband, the powerband will be easier to ride because the revs are not going up and down and up and down as much. You would not want to shave your flywheel for woods\XC type of racing where your racing in a lower gear and at lower speeds where you don't want to be shifting and revving the engine. Same holds true, but to a lesser extent for mx racing...... you'd sacrifice a few hp for a more controlled\easier to race kinda power. You can buy flywheel weights or heavier aftermarket flywheels. Higher revs are more desirable for drag racing or building a super fast TT motor, or building a dune motor. You wont find many if any aftermarket heavier Banshee flywheels because there's not much of market for.... Banshee's racing in the woods and MX tracks, they are just not as common as the Banshee's built for speed and raw power. Heavier flywheels have another perk, heavier flywheels can help with low speed stalling, more spinning mass makes the engine harder to stall. If your threading your quad through the woods and your in first gear and you have to slow to a crawl to get over that rock garden and through those trees, a heavier flywheel has the advantage. You can buy flywheel weights and heavier than stock aftermarket flywheels for every size 2-stroke dirt bike, the Honda 250r and Iv seen em for the new YFZ450's. There IS market and a valid point for heavier flywheels. MSD makes a Banshee ignition that eliminates the flywheel alltogether ! They market thier ignition towards the MX Banshee's, where others perfer the slower revving stock flywheel when MX racing. It all comes down to personal preferrence on this flywheel issue. Some guys like em fast and wicked and high revving... others perfer a more mild, easier to race, tork'ier motor. From what Iv read here on this forum..... EVERYONE and I mean every single person who had Boonmans flywheel mod done were 100% satisfied with the way thier motor ran with the lighted flywheel installed. If your a weekend warrior kinda rider than check into the lightened flywheel. The worst kind of riding for a lightened flywheel would be XC\Hairscramble racing through the woods.

I agree with what 2smoker is sayin, the first thing that came to mind when I read your post was "lean". And this quote.... What month\when did you rebuild this motor ?? -
Yep, that about sums it up for me too.

Just in the news this week. the international monetary fund has issused a warning to the USA of that our deficit is out of control and they will not be lending anymore money the US. The "experts" on CNN said that our deficit is beyond hope and that its going to take 3 generations to even come close to paying off the bill. The white house's response to the International Monetary fund....... was no response at all. Ignored. They said that Osama's might topple the USA's world dominace by bankrupting us. Just think, how could anyone or any country defeat the USA...... hmm they're not going to beat us militarily.... the only way would be too beat us montarily. Inflation is rising, jobs are going overseas, unemployment is higher than it was 4 years ago and our nation debt is a joke. 4 years ago, we had a deficit surplus. Now we're heading towards a complete finanicial meltdown that they're preditcting could be worse than the great depression. And before you die hard Bushys, with your blinders on, chime in and say thats just Democratic propaganda, all I can say is facts are facts are facts, and the countries debt is sprialing out of control.
