  1. Lets change the subject from the missing explosives and to the new Bin Laden tape. any thoughts ?? Im just hearing about it now.
  2. I can't get that washington times article, thier website is tellin' me "We are unable to locate the page you requested. The page you requested may no longer be available on our Web site." But I know what your talking about with the Russian taking it too Syria. Thats the excuse that the republicans are putting out. The Russian special forces story sounds like its taken from a movie plot and the whole story is full of holes and speculation. The real question isnt WHEN these high explosives were stolen, its WHY was it allowed to happen. Poor planning and lack of troops. Both fall on Bush's shoulders. We knew it was in those bunkers because of the inspectors, we had satelites watchin the whole place 24\7. The problem here is sometime someone took a shitload of bad ass explosives. The problem here is lack of leadership from george bush. The whole country was looted. Do you all remember Bush catchin' hell for the looting after Baghdad fell ? The only sites we gaurded were OIL related. They looted musuems and hospitals and schools and maybe Al-QaQaa. Dem\Rep differences aside.... this whole situation makes me nervous. And now today BinLaden puts out a video tape. Bin Laden is still alive and he's pissed, 380 tons of high explosives are missing..... as we wasted 2 years liberating Iraq..... spending billions of tax dollars, having 1100+ dead American soldiers with thousands more wounded.... and no end in sight, Iraq will probably go into civil war after the Americans' pull out. Its a big big big big mess over there, we made alot of new enemies while the main enemies, Osama Bin Laden, Alzawhari and Al-Qaida are still alive. Push da Throttle...... I can't believe your so brain washed by the republican party to instantly go into denial mode and then spit out an excuse, any excuse... no matter who gets blown up. Take off your blinders people. Don't look at this issue with a politcal view. Try to be a human being and think for yourself about what just happened over there. Someone, sometime.... stole 380 TONS of nastyass high explosives. We have a billion Muslims pissed the f*ck off at us. Do you see that ?? Its not pretty is it ?? Bush should be over there in Iraq driving a Hummer lookin' for those explosives. Lets hope we can find it. 1991 The International Atomic Energy Agency places a seal over storage bunkers holding conventional explosives known as HMX and RDX and PETN at the Al-Qaqaa facility south of Baghdad as part of U.N. sanctions that ordered the dismantlement of Iraq
  3. Gotta just love an auction with a good description, and lots of good pictures. The reason im selling it is because I bought a LoneStar axle nut to go with my LSR axle and sprocket\brake\wheel hubs.

  7. WASHINGTON - The whereabouts of nearly 380 tons of high-powered explosives that vanished in Iraq remained a mystery Tuesday, even as the timing of their disappearance was becoming an issue in the final days of the U.S. presidential election. The disappearance, which the U.N. nuclear agency reported to the Security Council on Monday, has raised questions about why the United States didn't do more to secure the facility and failed to allow full international inspections to resume after the March 2003 invasion. The explosives were stolen sometime after coalition forces took control of Baghdad on April 9, 2003. On Tuesday, Russia, citing the disappearance, called on the U.N. Security Council to discuss the return of U.N. weapons inspectors to Iraq. But the United States said American inspectors were investigating the loss and that there was no need for U.N. experts to return. The Al-Qaqaa explosives included HMX and RDX, key components in plastic explosives, which insurgents in Iraq have used in repeated bomb attacks on U.S.-led multinational forces and Iraqi police and national guardsmen. But HMX is also a "dual use" substance powerful enough to ignite the fissile material in an atomic bomb and set off a nuclear chain reaction. Both HMX and RDX are key components in plastic explosives such as C-4 and Semtex, which are so powerful that Libyan terrorists needed just a pound to blow up Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988, killing 270 people. VOTE KERRY
  8. damn good deal. BenBB did you get em ? post some pics when you get em mounted.
  9. yea pretty crazy huh. They really do work tho, its ashame they're so damn expensive. I hear they're a bitch to mount and its best to have your tires and rims sent to tireballs and have them install em. mo money mo money. All the Pro XC racers use em and get em for free, but us poor poor amaeturs must shell out $1100 to stay competitive.
  10. I remember back in the 80's when three wheelers were all over that hill. The honda Big Red was the machine to own till the 200X came out. I don't recall see'ing that many 2 stroke 3 wheelers at Coal Hill, but the Honda 110's, 185's and 200's, honda had three 200cc three wheeler models, the M, the S and the X and they were all over that hill in the 80s. The 350X was released in '87 and they were seen up the hill. I have a freind who ride a 350X at coal hill to this day. There's always two 250r three wheelers riding at coal hill. Those guys are always ridin and they go up the steepest, hardest climbs there. The first time Iv ever climbed Coal Hill was on my cousin's Honda 110. We we'rnt doin' the steep side, but one of the easier hills to the top, but still pretty hairy on an unsuspended 110. nate did you get Josh's powervalve YZ motor in your tri z frame yet ???
  11. I think the majority of stainless brake lines are identical product. Iv heard some have a teflon liner inside em so I suppose thats better. But Iv run LoneStar lines, the ones that sell on Ebay, and Iv run CottonEyedJoe's stainless brake lines. They all work a hellava lot better than stock rubber lines. Support a fellow BHQ member and get a set of DuneDevils lines.
  12. First check the spark. Do you know how to check for sparkin' sparkplugs ? You should be able to hear em crackin' whenever they spark. Don't shock yourself Second place to look is the carbs. Remove em and clean em. make sure all the jets are in place and the floats are level\not bent. Check your carb's air screws, turn them in till they lightly seat and count how many turns it takes to seat each of the air screws. They should both be set at the same amount of turns out. 1-1\2 turns out from seated is the ideal setting for em. Write back with what you find or with more questions. Clean your airfilter and put in two brand new NGK B8Res spark plugs in, gapped anywhere from .028 to .031
  13. happy birthday Fro-man, drink 2 for me
  14. ya know I really do enjoy debating the pres election, but I won't debate with you folks if you keep up with the name calling. If you are frustrated, or if your just not having fun debating this topic, then please don't post. Fixitrod since your the only one who replied in a civilized manner, I'll reply to this..... I guess he means now that Bush destroyed Iraq, we just can't pick up and leave the place, altho that wouldnt piss me off any. I'll pay my last penny and put my life on the line to fight Osama Bin Laden, Al-quida and the muslim extremists that have waged war on the USA. I will not support the war in Iraq because...... The 9\11 commission concluded Iraq didn't have any ties with Al-quida(howeverthefuckyouspellit) and didn't play any role in the 9\11 attacks, and the official report on WMD's confirmed Iraq didn't have any WMD's. Who shall we attack next, I thought Finland once said they didn't like America !! Let go get Finland !! Kill em all !! Question for Brooke. Whats your view on abortion ?
  15. Thats allright Holyman, I'll pay for Bush's war. You'll pay, Fireman will pay, our kids will be payin and our grandkids and Brooke will be payin', and if we refuse.... we'll be in jail for tax ivasion. Run up a big bill Mr President.... after all "debt" is the American way. Too bad we can't figure out a way to make the war supporters pay for the bill and the war protesters can keep thier hard earned cash and buy Banshee parts and gasoline @2.20 a gallon
  16. thats a good story, wish I had that kinda luck. Iv shot about a dozen buck with the bow, but no wallhangers yet. Rookie mistake, even with the new 80% letoff bows. You should practice taking quick shots. Pull up and draw back, place the pin on the shoulder and fire all in one smooth motion. wait for the shot, wait for him to move into perfect positon for a perfect shot, then do the quick shot. The longer you hold, the more your going to shake. Pull up, aim and shoot. 2 or 3 seconds. If you let down on your pull, be carefull you arrow doesnt fall off the bow cause they ususally un-nock themselves when you let a fully drawn bow down without shooting it. Grab that arrow before it falls and re nock it on the string.
  17. Holyman one thing you forgot, before we "invade" them, we would use the Patriot act to spy on em for a few months before the "shock and awe" begins.
  18. Whoa check out the big brain on Fireman-Hott... Really tho, thanks for proving my point. Next time I suggest calling me a "girly man" or "liberal" even.
  19. the acorns are out in full force this year in pennsylvania. The buck we got on video had a mouthful of acorns when my buddy shot him.

  22. Any bowhunters here ? bow season started october 2nd in Pa. This is my 14th season and Im not having much luck so far. 23. jeez, did that Pm sound psychotic or what ?? Thats some freaky scary shit that he wrote. seemed obsessed.
  24. Id think an electric would be easier to play for a beginner. They are so silky smooth, you don't need alot of pressure on the strings and the different tones and sounds you can get from a simple amp make electrics better for beginners. If you want a cheap beginner electric guitar, get a fender squire. they'r cheap'o Fenders, but theyre still a nice guitar. Your fingers will thank you for gettin an electric. If you find that you like playin' the guitar and you keep at it, then in the future get yourself a nice acustic and practice on both guitar styles. I have 2 electrics, 2 acoustics and one classical guitar. I play daily. just fiddlin' around with cool riffs, im not that good, I just have fun with it. Its a great hobby and everyone should learn to play music. Start with learning the basics of the guitar. Learn the names of the strings and how to tune the guitar. Learn all your basic chords until you can switch from chord to chord without missing a beat. Learn your G, C, D and E chords and you can play a thousand songs. Tabulature is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You can find every song ever made somewhere on the net. Solo's from van halen to classical shit all tabbed out.
