  1. Are you talking Cheetah Cubs or Cheetahs
  2. I ride any where from sea level to about 1500'. That squish is right where you want to be for a good build. If you are going to take these domes and have them machined you might as well just get domes for your setup. What octane pump gas can you get?
  3. BUMP If any of you guys have any questions just ask. I'm open to offers.
  4. I have a set of 4mil 21cc domes for sale. There are for 64-66 bore. They only had 5 gallons of race fuel ran through them (most of it was break in and testing). I bought them from Kevin at HJR when I had him build my 4mil dune port. On a fresh rebuild and at sea level them made 175 psi. With a standard thickness base gasket, 115 rods, and Wiseco 795 pistons I got about a .042-.044 squish. These are the domes Kevin sent me to run 110 octane with +6 timing. Im asking for $65 shipped for these.
  5. Nope. I heard the 450 master cylinder is a little better but the major thing is the calipers
  6. You can swap the stock calipers out for the 450 calipers. They bolt pretty much right up. The only thing you really have to do is either cut the metal shield or remove it. With the 450 calipers and braided brake lines it is like a whole new bike.
  7. Yes. The pistons will come out of the top of the cylinders about 2mm. You have to run cut domes or a spacer plate. The domes are the better way to do it.
  8. I contacted John about buying my banshee. After some pics and figuring out a price he came up with in an hour and bought it. Everything went really smooth and I would do business with again any day. Thanks Nyuk, you are a great guy
  9. If you didnt have a problem before you put the new reeds in but do now, I would check for an air leak.
  10. I would do a leak down test. I had a tiny little scratch on the cylinder intake surface that was leaking. If I wouldnt have done the leak down test I would have never known about the leak.
  11. Yeah, it looks like a vent line but its on top in front of the slides.
  12. Quick question. The little vent hole on the cylinder side of the carb on top, did you plug it or run a hose between the two carbs?
  13. Yeah, the one carb could have had a stuck float or after riding it something could have come loose to cause an air leak, pretty much anything could happen
  14. 91 octane for that setup doesnt sound right. When I had my motor done by HJR he sent me 20cc cut domes to run 110. Then I called him to figure out what size domes to go with for 93 octane. He sent me the 23cc domes and said it was going to be real close.
  15. I would say the mains are about right. The pilots are huge. Should be more like a 30 pilot.
  16. How much timing is he running? Im running a 4mil dune port with 23cc domes and +6 timing. Im just on the edge of 93 octane.
  17. Whats the filter setup for it?
  18. Are the domes cut domes for the 4mil setup? Did you check the squish before you started it? Did you do a leak down test on it?
  19. Try bending it in.
  20. Just make sure whatever you get is ok for wet clutches. Regular motor oil has additives in them that eat clutches. I have been using Golden Spectro 80w gear oil for 20 years and have never had any problems. If you do the ATF most guys say you have to change it a lot.
  21. You are going to get 50 different opinions on this one.
  22. I would try a 45 or 48 pilot.
  23. Check your pilot size. You should be about 42,45,48.
  24. I never had a problem. Just make sure you jet for the temps and you should be fine
