looking for a local place to buy an idle screw for stock carbs, i seem to have vibrated one out, i was wondering why it wouldnt keep and idle after about 45 minutes if riding. well the right side fell out so im looking for a local place that might have it besides the typical motorcycle shops cause everyones saying there out of them...think lowes or homedepot might have a bolt that looks similar?

think they decided friday the 13th, think we'll be leaving out sometime in the morning, were looking for an off weekend with alot of wind so the sand is smooth... man i hope i get my shearers in and they look and run good!

carb slides in backwards? weak spring inside carbs, weak spring inside thumb throttle, burs inside carb slides or gummed up? i usually pull my slides off and hit them with some 600 grit sand paper to make sure their real nice and smooth so they dont meet any resistence. also is it the slides sticking or do you have an airleak somewhere around the boots from a boostbottle or something

no theres no way to adjust a stock plate unless youve had a screw fall out or something, but your pick-up gap could be off. or your flywheel out of balance.

t-6's vf3's K&N pods stock carbs passion dune port +4 timing 20cc domes currently at 350 mains - 25 pilot - air screw 1 turn out - needle on third to the bottom clip. going to be changing to shearer inframe's, what do you think my jetting will need to go to.

hard to say but it probably should.

they say they have but iv never seen them enforce it, i see alot of people riding with stuff on their whips. and at the very minimum they'll say take it off in which you can rip it and throw it at them while giving them the bird riding away...

i saw some guys last time i rode with...get about a 2 foot peice of duct tape and fold it in half around your flag so its about a foot long, that was the easiest way to find anyone from the hq!, it was a great idea, they even wrote with a sharpie bansheehq on the tape. couldnt read it but you could notice it from a long ways away. just put in 2-3 inchs down from the whip.

i re-ringed my pistons after i got my passions port job, been running on it for over a year with great compression and am still smacking around 4 strokes daily. i see no problem with re-ringing if everything still in spec

well good, now that you've ruled out lack of compression. put those carbs back on and see what shee can do. i'd probably pick up a set of good looking spark plugs too. it can never hurt to pull the stator side cover off and look at the flywheel and re-set the pick up gap to make sure its correct.
