  1. looks fairly clean but really conservative which isnt always a bad thing especially until yo u truely know what does what and more importantly why
  2. on a 421 you can get away with a hD clutch kit sometimes but really over time they wear out .. the lockup is what you want ,some bikes and riders will make them slip sooner and lockup fixes this for good .
  3. high static compression is hard on crank bearings and worn bearings will have play and ultiamtly make an untrued cran k come apart prematurely
  4. if you click on the rjatv banner ad at top of the page he sells a complete clutch that uses heavy duty aftermarket (not stock)crotch rocket components from a few different machines such as a YZ490 YXT600 and FZR1000 ,they grip alot better than most clutch kits and you wont have ot cross reference parts and hope yo ugot the right ones ,its called a pro-lock
  5. I was unaware of that ,but it seems like common sense though, its only for a couple days s and youl lbe welcomed back just the same .. we try not to censor there and stil l keep things flowing smoothly, bans are very rare on E2S so please dont let that discourage you
  6. bump for a good seller and a good deal

    ESR Pipes?

shearers are a very effecient pipe ,not a lot of lowend but they hit extremely hard and will pull on top rpms when most al lthe other pipes on the market have signed off ,definilty one of the best pipes on the market for a high rpms banshee ...matt shearer makes them for most the companies listed including the eddie sanders racing ,just cause it has a etch or stamp of another brand on it doesnt mean it wasnt a shearer pipe design ...same thing goes with power pros and trinity racing
  8. geez thanks for the kind words guys ,as far as the reed cage comaprison id love to see how they respond in comparison t o vforce and tested on different setups not just one ful ltilt drag motor ,it would be nice to have a little more diversity i nthe mix such as a stock stroke motocross or trail motor with say midrange pipes .but unfortuanlty i thin k theres better candidates to send these too that have closer access to a dynomoter to make an accurate fair comparison.I would be veyr eager to see the results though .If it is as good as the other chariot products ive see nand read about than i wouldnt be surprised if it was an improvment over deltas
  9. vforce by design have twice reed tip area and use quality carbon fiber for the best response ,the outflow pretty much every cage on the market BUT there is actaully a way to make more flow and ultimatly slightly more power over vforce design and this can be done by using a very thin rigid reed material but unfortuantly the longevtiy is very limited so in the grand scheme of things vforce are stil l your best bet for power and durability ,some of you may have noticed lot of times the major contenders /builders at huge drag events wont run vforce reeds like you think they would .
  10. i agree rjatv.com wil l beat any dealers price on wiseco products ..hes cheaper than magic racing or rocky mountain i n my experiances
  11. oh yeah mitch ,i cut his banshee head .......he's speedy222
  12. on everything2stroke .com member 370banshee lives in that same smal l town of Kouts indiana i bet he knows exactly who this guy is and his screen name ,just a hunch
  13. alot of the symptoms people generaly think attribute to running drythe bowls dry are actually lean spots i nthe jetting,it takes quite a bit o na gas engine @ wot to draw them dry atleast for short runs if it happens at wide oipen throttle thats one thing but keep in mind the Keihin pwks are designed mostly for the modern 125 dirtbike high rpm design and characteristics ,but for us banshee guys where we want the fuel at a lower range ,the stock needles they often come with (cgl) are too lean ,cel and dek needles are much better choices in my experiance and can take away midrange and off idle issues alot fo times ,at the same time yo udont want t o make the mistake and overcarb your engine ,33 34 35 are good ideas on some bikes but dont forget stock carbs are proven to able to work wel lon modifed bikes and make 80 horsepower .
  14. id say your best bet is to ask around and see who was happy with what ,if the builder doesnt get back t oyu about your concerns in a timely fashion its genraly a good indication how he plans to treat the customer after he gets your hard earned money ...after the sale service is a big factor when building a race engine your builder can steer in the best direction to make al lthe mods work in unison and help in any jetting issues.. go with a guy that asks you almost as many questions as your asking him . i know kevin has a good reputation for being a standup guy and is true builder (were a dieing breed) not just a parts salesman
  15. i totally agree...... ups takes forever they dont run o n saturdays the prices are ridiculous usually ,they screw up locations worse than the the us post ofice ever does . i would not use them to ship a sparkplug
  16. its a little louder mostly just deeper toned ,in theory it will aid in lowend response and torque i just sold mine to a friend on here but heres a pic of mine i cut 3.5 inches off of the m,a good mod they really look much cleaner and better once mounted .
  17. theres a similar write up /serious complaint about him on everything2stroke.com as well
  18. well you may want to check the resolutions section on planet sand first
  19. yeah be sure yo u mention the stroker crank ,also let him know if youll be using a spacer plate or if your going with stroker domes and no plate .a dune port would be your best option .and mention the fuel type and riding style  one builders dune port is anothers drag port
  20. its true yo u will make better torque and a wider powerband by manipulating the transfers but it iwll involve more than simply raising them and it must be in relationship to the exhaust duration this is done for optimum blowdown, pitching.aiming the angles and sizes of the ports also can make a dramatic difference for the given range ,takes some know how and years of experimnetation this is the difference between a somewhat quick motor and a screaming fast motor. my 2 pennies
  21. if it wasnt 9 degrees out i would consider a big trai lride ,i m about 25 minutes north of grove city Pa. i ma fair weather rider ....but maybe this spring or summer we could meet up ...ill be at quadfest in somerset july 18-20
