it will hurt two things, performance, and your nuts when I kick them for being annoying. If you cant afford packing, climb up in your attic at home, and jack some fiberglass insulation. Works in a pinch, smells like burnt ass, and dont last long, but it keeps your nuts from getting kicked.

Basically, they were created to "fix" the banshees problem of the swingarms pivot point being so far away from the front sprocket. They did great, but they get hated on for a few reasons, mainly replacement parts when it comes time to rebuild. Im sure a few others will chime in with their 2 cents.....

WRONG!!! 86-87 has a short rod crank, and a different intake port configuration, 87-89 are longrod with a bridged intake port. Email me and I will answer any question you have. Also, the swingarms are same way, 86-87 has steel swingarm the has a motor mount in between the frame ends, and 88-89 had an aluminum one that was solid all the way across where the swingarm bolt goes thru. email sinisterboo@sbcglobal with any 250r questions....

I too have a hotrods 4mil crank with a center bearing locked up. Anyone wanna send me 300? didnt think so. But seriously, I do need to get it fixed.....

make sure your intake boots arent cracked, reed gaskets not leaking, base gaskets not leaking. if all that seems good, the pull the stator cover off, start the bike, and then spray some carb cleaner towards the crank seal, if it changes your idle spraying the carb cleaner around the seals and gaskets, then you've found your leak. Or find an HQ member near you with a leakdown tester, or search "leakdown tester" on here for instructions on how to make one. Very nice tool to have.

I put a set of houser arms on my 250r, didnt even click that they were long travel till they were completely mounted and went to throw my pep's on. So now I look like i should put dubs on my lowrider. Need some 19-20 inches long
