This is a very much needed post, from a guy who is on here 24/7. I agree that if you wnt the most from your bike, you need to research any and all mods you do, because its very easy to be had, from making a bad decision. Any reputable builder will take the time to discuss all your mods and plans, and help get you pointed in the right direction so you arent dissapointed with the results. I have personally talked to jeff at F.A.S.T several times during my build, and was very pleased with his taking time out of his busy day to answer all my stupid questions. Everyone on here will have a favorite. Just shop around. And once you have your bike done by a good place, you will be glad you waited. Hell, send off your jugs and pass the time by going thru your brakes, lube up your pivot points, maybe paint and powdercoat some stuff. Thats what I do, and it doesnt seem like that long of a wait. Its getting cold outside, so a lot of you arent riding much anyways. So read up! And builders, nows the time to step up, and help these guys out....
