  1. I need to be sure the lever will clear before I order them.... Right now my stock lever is super close to the thumb throttle on my Dual Gasser.......any input????
  2. I already got one to cut down. wasnt about to cut my eyeball roundhousing swingarm. Anybody have pics of cut swingarms?
  3. I already have a nice set of +2 a arms, and it has PEP triple rates on it, I just moved the circlip up to lower the bike, but with no pre-load, I definately need a swaybar! I have the swaybar from when I raced my blaster years ago, thought about cutting it up and modding it to fit my shee..
  4. With the minus 2, what type of link did you use? and thats what I will be up against, buncha 450's. I have raced before, but am new to setting up a banshee to turn! I have been just making em go straight fast!
  5. LOL, I am a hypocrite, cuz this stroked out one I just built has EVERYTHING wore out on it, and no front brakes, but thats part of the fun
  6. the 3mm crank works great, and I dont know what probs people have had with vitos pistons, But in the past 9 years, I have ran them in all the blasters I've built (lots) and a few banshee's. The main prob with asking questions on the blaster forum is that its mostly young kids who are on there, very few engine builders. And also, your comment about making it run before making it handle is opposite. A well suspended bike will beat a hot motored bike through the woods anyday!
  7. Looking for a swingarm to race flat track with, and input from guys who have ran shorty's as far as good or bad experiences.....
  8. so I need to get a vid of the one I just built up on here huh? 1st-4th wheelie no prob, 5th if you lean back! LOL. its ported, .020 over vitos piston, 3mm stroker crank, 35mm air stryker carb, toomey B1 pipe. timing at 5 degrees. oh, and the worst brakes ever.
  9. You can buy honda pattern hubs to fit yamaha. search ebay, thats where I found mine, cheeaap too!
  10. Stock lines are plenty long on my bike with +2's.
  11. Farmtruck, Im in tulsa, and had C&F custom chrome do my stuff, 260 to polish and plate my +2 a-arms, PM me for more info.
  12. Anyone running flattrack in oklahoma? I am in the tulsa area. Gonna be running Yahoo indoor series....assuming I find a short swingarm....and sway bar
  13. Bumper? whats that? Oh yea, its over in the pile. Just put some nice lookin bolts in the holes and go!
  14. I think its worth it, but its not a job I would tackle without a clymer manual if you are a first timer. I have a modded star AND a Shift-Pro kit in mine, and it shifts like super easy!!
  15. they went crazy on that thing! 1500 bucks for a swingarm? wtf is so much better about a 3 times as much swinger? other than that I was imressed. most banshee pics I've seen in a magazine for several years....
  16. it be nothin but banshee shit under my tree this year, my wife and I both have shee's!!
  17. where do I go to get a "tittle" for my bike? sounds like something I may like!
  18. I noticed that shipping insurance is "not offered". that would have turned my away right there.
  19. Read very carefully, you are bidding on a chance to go bid on it at a live auction. Thats fucked up.
  20. This is a very much needed post, from a guy who is on here 24/7. I agree that if you wnt the most from your bike, you need to research any and all mods you do, because its very easy to be had, from making a bad decision. Any reputable builder will take the time to discuss all your mods and plans, and help get you pointed in the right direction so you arent dissapointed with the results. I have personally talked to jeff at F.A.S.T several times during my build, and was very pleased with his taking time out of his busy day to answer all my stupid questions. Everyone on here will have a favorite. Just shop around. And once you have your bike done by a good place, you will be glad you waited. Hell, send off your jugs and pass the time by going thru your brakes, lube up your pivot points, maybe paint and powdercoat some stuff. Thats what I do, and it doesnt seem like that long of a wait. Its getting cold outside, so a lot of you arent riding much anyways. So read up! And builders, nows the time to step up, and help these guys out....
  21. ok, but we are gonna need a dna sample, wanna make sure your first born isnt gonna be a shitty person too, LOL
  22. PM MarineNYC, he has a set, and seems like the kinda cat that would take all kinda pics to help you out....(dont let me down nyc!)
  23. LOL, I told you, the auction for the hardware kit should be coming up soon!!!
  24. Bump for a sweet bike I have seen in person!
  25. If you just take care of your bike and make it last, you will have beat the predator, cuz that bitch will be broke down.
