  1. Damn, my 5 year old daughter knows what those are! "hey dad, heres some more trash"
  2. 4 bolts in the gas tank? mines lucky it has 2 in it, LOL. and Im lucky if they match!
  3. you mean just what we spent on the bikes? or including the divorce fee's and attorney fees the builds caused? PS. Joe, I want to have sex with your bike, mad passionate sloppy sex.....
  4. FYI, i too ran these wally world lights, and discovered a little electrical tape works great to keep the lense retainer ring in place, LOL
  5. What sucks is that once you drop that high compression piston in, and ride it a little, its gonna ejaculate the rod right through the case and tranny. IMO the trx450r is the delorean of the quad world. Great idea, shitty product.....
  6. instead of 2 birds with one stone, we may have killed 2 douchebags with one ad......
  7. There ya go, BBC remembers it too, just PM nitrotate, bet he will fix ya right up. And be sure to take plenty of pics during your build.....
  8. Some guy on here a year or so ago was in the process of making a DVD that covered just what you are wanting to do, never heard if he had started selling them or not. I will see if I can help you locate it...
  9. Where you from? We in the US dream of being able to run our banshees in the street without cops giving chase (though thats fun sometimes too). I would almost give up my guns to ride on the street! (my registered one that is LOL)
  10. He said "even grip on the shaft" . Good write up, but whats the campfire method? as that seems to be to only time anything ever breaks on me. Usually on a sand dune 300 miles from my shop.
  11. anyone else notice the tag on the back and duro street tires all around? Imma be pissed if this is another street legal banshee.....
  12. I would use the warrior for muddin from now on, cause if it gets stuck you can leave it, and not look back. A dry banshee, is a happy banshee. Take the stator cover off, and clean it out. The stator wiring is great about letting water it, and not letting it out..... After you clean all that out, fill that black rubber seal around the wires full of silicone to waterproof it....
  13. If i remember right, vitos forged pistons use wiseco rings, but i cant remember. Been a long time since i dealt with vitos, and this bike has one. Their website shows 2 different syles of rings, wiseco, and keystone.
  14. thats the problem, we are duners, but I totally agree with you about the 250, they are a perfect stepping stone for that up and coming rider in your family. Plus, I have never ever seen one of these broke down. Its genuine honda quality through and through. There are even a few aftermarket pipes available for them. Theres got to be a guy on here who's GF hates that he leaves her home and rides with his buddies. I used to be that guy. Then I built my wife a lil 4mil duner, and we've been happily married 11 years!!!! C'mon guys, get her a bike!!!
  15. nowhere in that article did it mention how you can build a damn stock stroke cheetah cub motor for less than what it costs to do the topend on a trx450r..........ironic.....dontcha think???????
  16. those sure look alot like DG to me......with dynojet stickers on em.
  17. I showed my wife your ad and she laughed her ass off...... She doesnt seem to wanna get rid of her banshee......
  18. DynoJet makes carb tuning parts, not aware of any exhaust they made. Maybe someone put dynojet stickers on em? or maybe they are from dynoport, which is an exhaust company... Could you get us a pic to help you get stepping in the right direction???
  19. All you can do is try it and see man. Other dude is right about alf stuff, its awsome. But I bet alf started out on his own with no help. Hell, maybe you could pm one of the polishers on here and ask for some tips on getting started. But dont be pissy when you ask a question and the answer isnt what you wanted, just re-word your question. In the "appearance" section there are a ton of step by step threads about polishing various parts, even raw steel! I polished my own cylinders, clutch cover, ect the way you are talking about, and it looks great for a little bit. The trick to polishing is patience.
  20. I do believe I would have tapped it first, then went fishin, i like having my cake and eating it too......
  21. sounds like a CDI prob, my wifes 94 did that, swapped coils, stators, then bit the bullet and bought a cdi. Ran like a champ after that..... what year is your bike? maybe an HQ member near you will let you try theirs before you buy one, if you are anywhere near tulsa oklahoma let me know, id be happy to help... and PS, I have never seen a bad coil on a banshee. not that they dont exist, but you have better luck finding bigfoot than finding a coil thats actually bad..
  22. maybe Id have better luck putting my -1 arm on ebay instead
  23. Well guys, 6 months later, I finally found a set 300 miles from my house for 200 bucks, whole set front to back, needless to say, I didnt get home til late lastnite......Cant wait to mount em up..
  24. enough with the drama, I need a clutch-side crank seal retainer for the zilla my friend left me when he died. Be nice to have it goin.
  25. I need a stock coil, some kind of adjustable timing plate, and some intake boots, dont matter if the boots have been trimmed for vforce, saves me some work.... these are all parts I lent out to people to keep them going while I was riding my trx250r the past year, and wouldnt you know it, no-one knows where it went..... PS. i pay with paypal, or trade, or hell i may dance a little bit....
