I bought one that already had works shocks, LRD adjustable pipe, widening kit, ect. Problem is, it was totally apart for powdercoat, and he lost a box full of all the a-arm bushings, spindle bushings, pivot bolt, and you guessed it, pivot bushings. I can buy the bushings new from 'suki, but would rather see if you guys had anything laying around....... Also looking for any tips and tricks on it....

Is a sway-bar really needed with a shock that stiff? I prefer to run a really soft spring/shock set-up with my sway bar to get weight transfer out of the corners... Definately looks like an improvement over stock shocks! And these are for sale cheap on ebay all day long right? I'd be curious to see what kind of sag and upward travel these have....

JUst buy a banshee off craigslist, seems like they all do 100mph even with stock shit on em....

I have that same one on my wifes bike. Scott Tallardy from CFM made em. Glad to see someone actually recieved theirs....Hers has held up, and I'd say its a good piece, good luck with the sale.

If it starts only when you shoot ether in it, then your carbs are definately plugged up. Hopefully someone on here can post a pic of the hole in the carb im talking about. You should never have to shoot a shee too start it up. Good way to end your banshee experience for sure, or make you smarter when you have to learn the hard way how to rebuild it! Maybe you can take a pic of your carb so we can identify it??

I have found that the small little passage that runs at an angle from the bowl to the throat of the carb (idle/slow-jet?) gets plugged up and makes em a MF to start. This is assuming you have stock carbs. Get a torch tip cleaner thingie, has several different size pieces of wire on it. They work good for unglogging them. Any parts store should have one... Hope this helps a little..

i just went from cpi inframes to a dmc 916, and the 916 is by far quieter... but its also brand new, so it still has the OG packing in the can... my cpi's, thats a whole nother story....

Yep, 32:1 is 4 ounces per gallon. And be sure to use a quality oil too, otherwise your next post will be "The shee threw me over the bars when the motor siezed up, what do i do now?" LOL, and most importantly HAVE FUN....

Oh man. I remember my first time. Its was great. And good for you using protection! All jokes aside, there is a screw on the front of the thumb throttle that prevents wide open throttle. Maybe you could run it in some, and as you get braver, (ie. better) you can open it up more, little at a time.... I learned the hard way my first time...Go too fast and there wont be a second time!! LOL, at least not with the same chick.......

I bought a set of em while back from rocky mountain atv when they were misprinted at $99.99!!!!! free to ship too!! One of em met an un-timely death via sidewall gash when my buddy tried to run my bike over a damn warrior..... I liked em soo much, im trying to figure out how to sew up the gash and maybe put a tube in it.... Being that they are on beadlocks, im not to worried bout killin the tube from bead-slip......

If loud is what you want, I'd suggest trading your banshee for a 4stroke with no baffle in the pipe. Loud is whats getting our riding areas shut down. Now on the other hand, if you "meant to say" whats the best sounding pipes, we may be able to help......

Kid brought me a blaster to work on once that was doing that, broken flywheel key was the culprit. And yes, I had to "test-ride" it first, to fully understand, LOL. quads are very responsive to steering going backwards fast!
