  1. Where you at and how shitty is the budget?
  2. If you can't launch in second with a 13 tooth front.......... Add more powers. WORD!
  3. Hate the idea. 18" are for MX 20" are perfect trail tires.
  4. I feel a great disturbance in the Force........
  5. I NEVER talked them up. But I've talked them down well enough that any time Trinity is mentioned......everyone is waiting for me to step in with my bat and start swinging away. And I've got a damn impressive batting average. LOL
  6. Thoughts - Crank out of phase. Flywheel came loose. Flooded on right carb. Inspect flywheel trigger points for corrosion and proper gap. Inspect reeds too.
  7. It always cracks me up..... We see top quality $15, 000 built bikes with Cascade quality bling that can't sell for $6000 on a site with thousands of knowledgeable members. Yet people think a clean mostly stock bike is worth $3500????? I could buy that same bike with a full aftermarket suspension and porting for a price like that. There was a 4mill Serval bike with WORKS shocks, +2 arms and a +4 swinger that sold for that kind money. Good Luck.
  8. GBC XC MASTERS
  9. That would look exactly like my stellar arched arm.
  10. Any grinder will work. Just grind till you see the screws.
  11. No. That's just what all those Jersey Shore type Guido's are asking. Find one that actually SELLS at that price. Same with eBay. People always say "there are three just like mine on eBay and they are going for $4000". I say "NO....that is just the asking price. Check completed listing that end with sale."
  12. The pipe that the shock/link mounts to twists loose like a twist throttle. The welds hold, but the metal around those welds actually rips. Also the flat plates on the stock carrier arms stress crack.
  13. Broke me chromoly Metal Tech too. ...but it was a dune arm and I was riding aggressive dirt riding at the Badlands in Indiana.
  14. Driveline Performance clutches will fit in an R1 ........and would be an upgrade. LOL
  15. Add more powers. Your measuring Handpower losses. Try adding a Horsepower. LOL
  16. It's ok to be poor.......just don't make poor choices and end up in a body cast. LOL
  17. ^^^^ entire reply was basically an "I know you are but what am I" type statement. I didn't think you would catch all those subtle details, but you understood completely. LOL Hey, you're a machinist......I think there was a guy on here looking to let his machinist buddy do his porting. Maybe he should give you a call. Good idea about leaving your work shoes outside. Those stilettos car really trash the linoleum.
  18. Ummm if I rode that the stereo would not survive since I've bottomed bikes out hard enough to have the brake caliper hit the silencer. The chain would go thru that enclosure like I was competing in a Hot Saw event. Not to mention how loud my bike is when in the throttle...... I don't ride to music.......but in a world of iPods and earbuds....why bother with dumb shit like this?
  19. Sounds exciting! Around these parts we keep track of our fun with an Hour Meter rather than judging the levels of destruction to our footwear. But I can understand using your work shoes for riding………at some point the french fry oil just gets so soaked into them, I'm sure there isn't much else you can do with them. Once they get that far gone, you can't wear them home or they'll just leave tracks from one end of the trailer to the other.
  20. I've personally broken a Swingarm shop unit and seen a second one break. DON'T BUY ONE! I would buy ( In this order ) #1 - JL Engineering fully braced MX arm (My latest purchase) #2 - Fireball #3 - The Braced swing arm offered by F.A.S.T (FRANKTHETANK just got one)
  21. Every time…..bruised foot for a week…….and trash 3 pairs of shoes. Maybe next year you could just remove the kick starter entirely and push start the bike for even more "Fun" Know what you're doing (like using shoes that leave your foot bruised every time)…………Broken ankle < Bruised foot…………maybe use flip flops to start the bike and get that ever so enjoyable foot bruise going, THEN put boots on for the "Riding" portion of the fun.
  22. Toomey sells spark arrestors tips that install right on the Toomey pipes. (Do NOT buy the "Hush Kit" that ties both silencers into one arrestor!) Buy the two separate units. For the FMF pipes….you can just buy the Turbine Core silencers. (Forget pictures from people)…..If it's not STAMPED with U.S.F.S approved spark arrestor right on the silencer housing…..then move on and get some that are.
  23. He's implying you are about to get FLAMED. I think it looks cool. My wife bought me a full kit that changes colors and flashes and pulses with different settings. I mocked it up and it will run for HOURS on a small Milwaukee 12volt lithium battery. I have all my mounting points figured out. If my fast bike is ready for the LS HQ ride I will probably put it on for that trip.
  24. Can't help you then. I run full Hison 8-plate on both bikes. Pancakes on both bikes. Driveline performance clutch on both bikes. Driveline lock-up on my big bike. ASV levers on them as well. (Shorty levers and standard F3's) Both have Motion Pro cables and adjust just fine.
