  1. It's ALL the dealers. WORLDWIDE
  2. So....you would rather lean over and check a temp of a gauge that is just a coiled spring the gets hot and unwindes to move a pointer instead of just glancing down at a digital gauge that is accurate to within ONE degree? Do you remove those factory digital radios from your car and replace them with one that has a knob? FFS the TTO and KOSO run on a watch battery that lasts over a year. And it's just one wire....you know, like an hour meter.
  3. No base gasket. Just cylinders bonded to cases. Doesn't look like a stroker to me. At best that's an Old School sleeved 68 bore build with a stock stroke crank.
  4. Other than a motor the nobody knows anything about.....that bike has NOTHING else done to it. Junk tires on stock rims. Plastics and rims are from different years, so it coukd be and older bike with newer plastics or newer bike with older wheels. What octane fuel does it need? How can you trust the answer? Black trinity pipes, IMS motorcycle shifter?.....that's some old shit! Was it ever jetted correctly? Trinity head = Trinity domes. Do a search on that topic! LOL Too many questions..........
  5. Move that to the repair and mods section and sticky it under technical links. Good find.
  6. As stated.....KOSO or TTO are the only real choice. I own both and they are extremely valuable tools. The vapor ends up with issues when used on a banshee.
  7. I hope you can afford to spend another $2000-$3000 on it after you get it home......
  8. I reckon you can buy that at a store near you. Maybe different brands....but I'm sure they have some nice stuff somewhere. I might have to get you the clutch/flywheel tools.
  9. Email me the pics you have so I can see what they took apart and what you actually have. Then I can put togethet an action plan on getting something shipped your way.
  10. Clutch/flywheel tools 200 piece tool kit with metric sockets, wrenches, allens and your usual screwdrivers. 13/16 ratcheting box end wrench for ease in pulling spark plugs. CRAFTSMAN here in the states makes a nice kit that includes a 3 drawer plastic toolbox with lid storage. That kit plus the flywheel/clutch tools and you are about set.
  11. Easily. Along with plenty of other extras you don't want pay to ship.
  12. Stealership wants $116 for an $18 head gasket? They need a groin kick.
  13. For YOU...... Sounds like it's time to put plan B into action. How much did they disassemble?
  14. Best sand tires that are not paddles? Skat Trak Mohawks. FTW! LOL
  15. Sounds to me like you might want to invest in property about 8 hours straight south......
  16. It's our universal text book. Everyone open their books to page 118 chapter 5 "Engine Lower End"....... I can always stick a manual in the crate with the motor. See....like I said....what else you want shipped in one box instead of five?
  17. ROOOOLLING! LMFAO
  18. No. Buy a CLYMERS manual. Not a yamaha manual. Had a feeling it was going to be news like that. Ok....on with plan B.
  19. Motor got bigger…..didn't re-jet the new combo…... Might have had an air leak after the rebuild…. No mention of piston to cylinder wall clearances or ring gaps on rebuilt combo….. Burndown. Sadly a common story.
  20. You set your account into the Chuck Norris mode……. Because nobody needs to tell Chuck Norris anything.
  21. The rehab joints must just be busting at the seams with former known Banshee builders. ……there are a few that seem to be AWOL lately.
  22. New PRM Grab bar. Much better idea.
  23. You said that 6 hours ago!
  24. Go to sleep you HP addict!!! You blew it up and you've been on a bender trying to figure it all out in one day. Get some sleep so you can process information when that dealership finally calls. GO TO BED!
