  1. My point exactly. Tennis shoes are NOT for riding or even loading a machine.
  2. So should I recommend wearing a boot? Or are you content with blowing out shoes and feet?
  3. Is the ball welded on your shaft? That will cause your condition. And a pancake bearing will solve it.....
  4. Rosco P Coltrane says……. "Use Driveline Performance! Coo Coo Coo Coo"
  5. So….42-44 HP with little tires. Yep 14-41 or even 13-41 if you drag race.
  6. I'm thinking lean………... But it's not doing a thing for my scale.
  7. Ok…well is your bike stock with a graphics kit or a 18 mill DM? Are you running 18" knobbies in sand or 78 rollout 14 paddle staggered Rippers? Pump gas or Jet fuel? 350 pound jockey or Daffy Duck at the controls? It's a context question and you gave no context. So till we have some more info……..does this shirt compliment my eye color?
  8. Driveline Performance
  9. What would be the best shirt to go with my outfit?
  10. Butt dyno results for all of us to marvel at. I'm tingling with anticipation. I'm putting my latest motor build on hold pending results from TOOMEY MAN'S machinist friend port job. Could you please ask him his theory on squish angle and dome design? I'd like to know his thoughts on intake/exhaust timings as it relates to the percentage of blowdown. Will he be porting to match your Toomey pipes or does he get better results from a different model? Does he prefer a wider or narrower squish band? I want details! Preach to me Toomey Man!
  11. So like....he should totally go build motors for NASCAR and shit.
  12. He wants pipe suggestions and.......onions?
  13. Landscaper with one truck and a push mower. Got "more" money….only because he cashes all his checks and has them pay out in singles because he sees that as MORE money than getting paid with ONE $20 bill.
  14. Welcome to the website. (Hold on to your hat this is about to get a little bumpy) A Yamaha dirt bike with bigger frictions? WOW you don't say……. I wonder if YOU are the only one who knows about this trick. Doubtful since the entire Banshee world has used a set of FZR street bike fibers. (Far better than you 10 year old vintage dirt bike fibers) Do you really think you weren't told the very best info just now? Do you really think your 10 year old idea hasn't been eclipsed by any manufacturer in the last 10 years? Has is occurred to you that buying ANYTHING from Yamaha will cost you 4 times what it will for a TOP aftermarket part? Has it even occurred to you that the reason your clutch lasted 10 years is NOT because it was so great…..but because your bike has so LITTLE done to it? Did you read Trickedcarbine's profile? He LISTS the exact clutch he recommended to you! Read about his bikes mods….FAR MORE done to it than your bike. I run that same clutch on a 65+ HP bike and it's lasted 5 hard seasons of endless dune drag racing and hundreds of hours of aggressive dirt riding and is still going strong, as well as in my 100+Hp full dune dragger. So…….in closing let me just reiterate……Welcome to the site. If you are here to ask a question, I'm sure everyone will be willing to lend a helpful answer. If we are able to hit the nail on the head and answer specifically what you're looking for than all the better. But since you can't reference a "Dirt bike" by either era/age/size/model and you can't remember what you did 10 years ago…..maybe you could stand to log on and LEARN some NEW TRICKS from some members here that might even put your old school tricks to shame. NOTE: ALL the people involved with answers or comments in your post here (other than you) have well over 3,000-4,000 posts here…... You have 2. Listening is a skill. Good luck.
  15. I'll trade you for a stock tranny with modded shift star. PERFECT shape. I even have BRAND NEW shift forks still in the factory packaging.
  16. It's close enough. If he has a manual he'll figure it out when he's elbow deep in it. Or you could type it out correctly.
  17. Running A-B and C class riders in staggered starts.......LOL
  18. And while you have it apart....put in a Pancake bearing.
  19. You might as well throw that flywheel in the trash now before it causes damage to your crank. If that's a Ricky Stator, you can just throw out the whole set-up.
  20. Flows better...but even less bottom end.
