  1. welcome to the hq
  2. welcome to the addiction x2 on the pics
  3. it's a cool idea for sure but i'd stick with a 2stroke motor
  4. imo kenda klaws suck for anything other than hard pack over here i can only get kenda or duro tires. kenda dominators are the best i've tried for the rear
  5. welcome to the addiction
  6. plugs are fine, sounds like jetting. you should post this in the jetting and exhaust section for better replies
  7. higher elevation = less oxygen therefore smaller jets required
  8. nice quad
  9. my chassis skid is a baja, first one i've had so i've nothing to compare it to. seems to be well made though
  10. i run the durablue hammerforce skid on the rear. it's the one made from polyeurethane (plastic) it has held up really well to being bashed off rocks for over a year now. for me it has outlasted the stocker and numerous aluminum ones, the best part is it returns to it's original shape and doesn't rub the rotor or sprocket but it's a bit pricey
  11. it's a shame it wasn't dry i would've liked to see him pin it more
  12. from the front on pic it looks pretty weird
  13. welcome to the addiction
  14. i'd recommend the quad works gripper seat cover for sure, been running it for about two years and it's showing no signs of wear  clicky linky
  15. stock compression is about 120 on a fresh topend, probably 20cc domes would suit you but your better off waitin for dlnoss to answer about the domes. i run the noss head and it's a great product, i'd recommend it to anyone
  16. the timing advance plate is really easy to install, i fitted one to my banshee a couple of weeks ago. if you buy the right flywheel puller tool it shouldn't take any more than half an hour from start to finish
  17. i change it after about 10 hours of ride time
  18. throttle over ride system, it's the big metal things sitting on top of your carbs. you can disconnect the control unit to see if it helps, it's a small black box bolted to the frame just in front of the gas tank on the left side. it has one wire coming out of it that joins into the wiring loom via one white plug. there is also a wire coming from the clutch perch which activates the tors when the parking brake is engaged. i can't remember how to disconnect this because i haven't had either of them on my banshee in years try disconnecting them, if it doesn't help then you can always plug them back in
  19. that looks killer  you happy with the end result? worth the effort?
  20. sounds to me like the parking brake or tors
  21. if the size of it is bigger then it will lengthen your gears, maybe one of them was for a different size chain does your chain fit better around one of them? the chain size should be stamped on the sprocket
  22. damn, i hate it when somebody adds a reply while i'm typing mine
  23. your pipes and reeds perform best at high rpms and bigger carbs give your more mid to top-end power so i think it would compliment your setup you could lose a little low-end power but that really depends on how much bigger you go
  24. i've never ran 22's on the front, always 21's. but i can't see it causing any problems why 22's?
  25. my bad it's been about three or four years since i've heard a shee with stock pipes :yucky:
