decided to go with t5s, ordered up the un chromed ones so i could get them blacked out.

since its winter and im bored, i want to switch both my bikes over to engine ice. what is the best/easiest way to get all of the coolant out? i am going to also install the coolant ez drain plates on both quads, so this will be easier in the future. while im doing this, should i slap in the high flow impellers? do the modquad ones have the same problem as the pro design ones? of the coolant that is in them now gets on anything painted like the frame etc, is it going to screw up the paint?

cmon no one knows? -
the shifting definetly gets firmed up big time, but its not annoyingly firm. it wont slam the gears like an old say chevelle with a transgo shift kit, which you wouldnt want it to do anyway. after the tune, the shifting kind of reminds me of the way my benz e320 would shift, if your driving normally it will shift quick and pretty firmly, so you barley notice it, and if you have it floored, it will bang the gears. you also will be able to do brake stands and donuts, lol once the torque/abuse mgmt is taken off. the guy butch who sells the tunes actually took me for a ride in his denali pickup, he has the corvette servo mod done, makes a huge difference in the shifting, and i think the part is only like $20 or something. definetly on my mod list. im also planning on slapping a whipple blower on my mustang, i have no idea how im going to pay for it now though because i bought the other shee.

on my 05 denali, i went with the Dual 91-93 Octane Dual HOT tune and got the E/P tuning with 3D mapping, the power is great, i didnt get anymore mpg around town, but at steady speeds on the highway, i get about 2mpg more since i got the tune. when i went to pick up the 06 banshee, i was getting 17.2mpg towing my trailer unloaded, doing like 80-90mph the whole time. not bad, considering my truck has the 6.0 and is all wheel drive.

for everyone who has GM cars/trucks, this is the best, and only tune worth doing. http://www.westersales.com/Westers/index.htm i have run it in my old yukon, my current denali, my boy had his trans am done, the claims they make are not BS, definetly the best mod for a GM car/truck as far as tuning goes. on both my trucks, it made a huge difference in power, and the fun to drive factor.

just wanted to make sure that with the pods that box uses, the motor will get enough air. any performance advantage with the boss intake, or is it just made to last longer than the stock rubber boots? -

Yea I think I'm going to order them for both my bikes, with uni filters with outerwears. What pipes are you running? -
so then i think im going to order up 2 of the CFM airboxes, should i go uni filters or k&n?
-
i would take the hyperping tuner, set it back to stock, ebay it, and get westers tuned. i tried a hypertech on my old yukon, a 99, and it made the motor ping like a bitch, and added like no power. ordered up the westers custom tuning, and the truck ran perfectly, and it added a shitload of power un like the hyperping.

what kind of stores sells that shit? would they have it in home depot? so you think as long as i keep my outerwear maintained with the spray, and the filter oiled, i should be good with the setup im running? i was thinking of the CFM airbox, because i like to fly thru mud and puddles, but it seems like it will take off some power.

this the stuff? http://www.amazon.com/3M-5014S-11OZ-Heavy-...5422&sr=8-2

i would always be either upstairs in the top floor in the back rooms to the left of the bar, by the water fountain on the entrance floor, but that shit got too hot with DTs, or on the catwalks around the dancefloor. ill bet we do know some of the same people, im 28. i think more SF talk should be in PMs lol.
-
for riding real muddy trails, flying thru puddles etc, after this weekend it is seeming to me like the toomey 2:1 might not be the best setup for me. is the cfm airbox any good? which filters are better to get with it, the k&n or the UNI? how much airflow would i lose by switching to this from the 2:1? or should i just stay with the 2:1, or do a stock airbox with a filter? what is going to have the best combo of performance and water protection?

mustang is running the chrome bullitts now, sold the torq thrust IIs.
-
i checked both, but with the bike cold and i forgot to hold the throttle open, both were around 115. today when i tipped the bike up on the rear grab bar, a shitload of water came out of the carbs, i drained the oil, tomorrow im going to put oil back in, new plugs fire it up and see how it runs, and check compression when its warmed up.
-
not to WMC, ill be too fucked up the whole time to ride lol. i would like to drive down to florida one time with it tho
-
ok, so lets say i want to run a lidless box, what is the best filter/adapter setup for it? price really doesnt matter im going to be in debt forever with these 2 fucking banshees
-
hell yea i love that shit, i didnt go last year, hopefully i will make it this year! did u used to go to factory before it got shutdown/changed to pacha?
-
yea i do love florida, i lived in tampa for a year, ill be down in miami for WMC in the spring.

i always do when i ride, i wasnt wearing one because i was just going up and down the dirt road in 1st gear to warm the bike up enough to leave it running, then i had to do the next one, and then i had to get back in my truck and eat a sandwich, so i didnt really think i needed a helmet driving 5mph for like 100ft. i always wear a helmet and chest protector when i ride.
