Thats pretty much what my 97 looked like when I got it, minus the wheels and pipes all stock. Someone may have switched the tank cover and rad cover, they came out with the red. Do you still have this?

Ha Ha thats what I was thinkin :biggrin: I've run the tusk clutch hard for over a year now, just took it out for shifting mods and it looked great.

This site is more like the real deal, real life situations. Thats what makes this place so popular, if people get on hear and stick around for a while, they figure out how cool this site really is. All the air your hearing is coming from your filterless airbox, thats why shee's hesitating and sounding like its going to die. Its jetted for a filter, not NO FILTER, shee probly is lean as hell. Sounds like the guy was trying to run without the lid, with the screw you found on it, and probly never rejetted it to compensate.

Damn, and I thought they were joking. I dunno man, thats some risky buisiness! Plus uneeded maintenance. lol

Thats a nice gift man, I'v been wanting one of those for a while but can't seem to bring myself to give up the $$ for one. I wouldn't think anything is going to break easily on that unless really miss treated. :shrug:

I thought it was in the humor section, but I was beginning to wonder till I got to the middle of the last paragraph. :sweat:

Stock rear end you have top and bottom bolts, then you have your adjusting bolts "small ones" sticking straight out the back. loosen top & bottom then loosen the lock nuts on the small adjuster bolts and turn the bolts in or out to adjust the carrier, axle, Then when you have where you want it tighten the lock nuts and then the larger bolts top & bottom. That should keep it from getting out of wack. Hope that helps you out.

As fastrthnu said the vforce are ok but I think you will get the most out of a Noss head. Whats your elevation?

Leave the rears, I like the rears cut if they are stretched out with more of a drag look, but the mx look It just flows with the looks of a drag bike. JMO
