1. 148-155 main, 145,148 my vote. Look at your plugs at 1/2 throttle for 200 ft.
2. Like it says. Vforce 2 or 3 cages with good reeds. I keep seeing them sell cheap and missing out. Thanks Radar
3. I have a +8 crush/oval tube, stock carrier style. If interested.
4. Are those Verde graphics. Any more pics. I like the look.
5. You said you raised the trans a bit. You hopefully know the degrees of trans duration VS the exh is very important. This difference is called the blowdown in degrees. Hopefully your in the high 120s for trans duration @ 196 deg exh.
6. They are more than likely standard halogen replacement bulbs. Pull one out and go to a larger auto parts strore they should have em. 2x50 watt lights wont work.
7. Ported they'll help. Jetting in the high 140s to mid 150s.
8. Money just sent for mine. Good talkin to you today.
9. The 21" tire they sell is not a bad choice though. It's a 12" wide not 11 and it's close in size to the 22" really. I think they work about the same. Just get it on a narrow wheel. They sometimes sell it on a 10" wide rim but you'd want an 8" wide not 10" wide. I might trade my 8" crush tube swinger for a 4 or 6" swinger if interested.
10. 148-160's usually. So they got you close.
11. Rocky Mountain Atv's brand. It's like stock.
12. 6 horses on a ported 350. Yeah it's worth it.
13. Dam Jeff way to hook a brother up. Good job
14. Bottom of the line mercedes or top of the line hyundai??
15. Then dont forget to adjust your clutch while apart. Ford type aft fluid is what I run in the trans. It's really very simple to do yourself without a book.
16. I've got one. They hit really hard in the topend which I think would be very fun in a sportbike. They are a high 70 to low 80 hp motor with good pipes. I believe you guys have pipes that would work fine in the 194-198 degrees of exhaust duration of the cubs. Over here a new cylinder costs roughly $875 USD + $70 or so fro each piston and then you'd need a head to work with it as well. A stock head can be rechambered for about $80-100 in the US. In the 80s I had a Kawasaki 900R Ninja I thought was the baddest bike ever till I raced a guy with an RD 350 who wooped me everytime to about 100 mph. Good luck.
17. Theres others who do bearing mods and shift work other than just an override. Theres also shift star mods and a shift pro which help shifting.
18. It's kinda funny I posted about these cages on 9/17/07 on Psand. Dont know if the link will work on here. http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubbthread...lves#Post705123 Not much exposure still. As for somebody not being able to compete with Calvin on cylinders that's not true. Calvin just happens to sell a very good product. For about 50% more than just porting you can get a new cylinder that rocks. If anybody had a slightly better cylinder or was 25% less expensive than Calvin... like your cages are compared to Vforces then they'd be very busy making them. I'll dyno a set if you want. I was thinking the carbon reeds would be better for a 11,000 rpm motor not the 2 stage. I even have a brand new set of carbon tech reeds I could try on those cages.
19. Round mainjet i na pwk??? I dont think so. Look at pic. Those are KOSO carbs which have never been much good. The OKO carbs however in a 28 or 30mm are decent.
20. If the exh port is very wide like as in 70% to 75% as wide as the bore size and if the exh port is closer than 28 or 29mms from the top of the cylinder then it would be a topend/drag type port. Drag ported also will have a somewhat flat roof to the exh port. Otherwise you'll have to guess.
21. I have the stock linkage. I might be pulling off my elka if you are interested in a used one for an extended swinger.
22. I have a stock stroke cub 392 ccs and am kinda newish to HQ but have hundreds of posts on other sites like planetsand etc. If you'd like them to be tested against stock cages as well let me know. I will say if they are good and prove them selves i'll post on more than just this site.
23. We did some kickass minis in the last few years. Heres a few. Click on the blue one to see.
