A bud just went thru the same thing, ruined his crank finally after welding a puller to the flywheel and using a grade 8 bolt in the puller. It bent over the end of the crank and the bolt rather than come off. His key and flywheel wobbled a new groove slightly and was sort of turning in the groove and holding it solid. If it were me i'd cut the flywheel off if i had to before ruining the crank. My guess on his was his flywheel wasnt on quite right.

When adjusting the eccentric are you guys clicking the trans into gear and adjusting the claw evenly between the two pins on the star or are you adjusting it with the bike in neutral with just the one (1st gear) pin between the claw. My neutral down likes to be adjusted down a hair but it might just be my foot?

Buzz sells it by the gallon or barrel. The cycle shops rape you for a 5gal can. I'd like to get ahold of the guy in wellsville. That's pretty close to me.

I think he means ignition timing, singe he said he's at 4 now. For gas probably around 6 or 7 but remember your jetting will get leaner with more timing. If you like that setup more power to you, they are notorious for running like crud down low, and the nikasil coating on the cyls must be spray painted on, its peeled off a lotta peoples cyls. If your not happy with the torque it makes more timing and compression or different pipes won't fix it. The stock stroke actually runs alot better than the 4 mil.

the oct ride is just that a ride and get together. i hope no one stays home because they cant stand not having the fastest bike there. If you dont have a 14 mil DM or bigger over 140 hp bike you WILL NOT be the fastest . So what. Eat drink and be merry. Ride and party. I ride my old junkers more than i race. I ride 14 hrs a day but I dragrace a couple hours at most. The rest of the time I jeep, dune, play with my kids, hang out, and trail ride.

I would kinda like to see some one on one races with a good flagger. Yrs ago we had a good race at LS. Its kinda hard to see who wins when 10 bikes go at once. We also have Spurdy the champ closed course dune racer, we could line up a horseshoe or oval type of course race for the guys that have fast bikes but short swingarms. That would be pretty cool. I'd make up a cool small course if someone wants to do that Sat too. Maybe have at least one decent jump and other stuff.

Alotta times you can tell if your pilots are lean by trying to crack the throttle open with the bike idling. If it wants to stall out then it may be lean on the pilot or even the needle. Seems like its pilot mostly but also needle clip position as well.

OK Myself and a few people i know recently got their banking and debit cards hijacked so i'm trying to upgrade all my computer security stuff. I dont think they got my debit card number from my computer but you never know?? I have kasperski antivirus and firewall on the new computer now and just bought the newest version of Mccafee for my old computer. Now my question. I just recently got a new laptop and I've always added lavasoft's ad aware se to my computers but now it appears you dont download it off lavasoft's website. It seems as tho you have to download it from downlolad.com, cnet or some other host/download site. I wanted to know if those were ok, as i dont wanna ad some new junk or spyware to my computer. Their user agreements appear to be adding a trial of some kind for lavasofts upgrade but then i dont wanna have popups after a year like norton or mccaffee does. I hate those. It seems like Norton and all the antivirus cos are very good about putting what i'd call a virus on your computer that give you a popup for their ads and renewals forever. Any tips as to what the best options are to protect my computer? I plan on adding Spybot SD also. That and Adaware always cleaned alot of stuff off.

That sounds like a deal, why only 3 passes?? i wouldnt have the carbs or any gearing dialed in 3 passes.

i was told by a very good suspension man that did factory racers bikes that squeaking when the bike is not moving is nothing to pay attention to at all. He said ignore it. period. lol

Hey DallasG If you'd be interested in a nice DS90 Bombardier trade i have one with low hours its my 6 yr old boys its got real low hrs.

if you have a ricky stator that is always the first thing to check. I had a 95hp motor make 77hp with a ricky stator. they just sort of make the same hp for about 3000 pms. If you can post what your port durations are that may help. If you have lower transfer port durations than you should that can hurt topend. 75HP isnt really that bad for a 350 but you are bigger than that. If you have 32 or 34 degrees of blowdown and 196 to 198 exh and at least 126 degrees if trans duration but not over 130 you might look elsewhere. Did you cut the skirt of the sleeve down, widen the exh port to 70% of the bore size or so?? Bigger carbs probably wont add much to that setup right now.

I don't know much about nitrous but I know 16cc domes,gas and boondockers is a BADD plan. Scrap that plan quick.

We flattened one end of it and made a pipe out of your boost bottle so i dont think it'll work now.

I don't know why you guys are bustin his balls. That's a sweet bike and works well. I used to tease Loboboy about those paddles and he'd say he's a duner not dragger and that bike was awesome. If we rate bikes for fuel mileage then my daughters LTZ250 was the best cuz it would go 2 days at the dunes on 3 gals. Shutup already about the 400ex, maybe the polaris scrambler is the best bike?

I know when it comes to drinkin you better have big boots to hang with bbcmudtruck. He sometimes has his wife carry a 5 gal jug of "coolaid" for him and can ride a banshee pretty well carrying a 44oz cup and carrying 3 beers. Lol.

You can fill out a complaint form on the consumer product safety commission website and at least the company will eventually have to answer the complaint. Might take 5 years since its the federal govt but i would do it on something like that crappy product.
