  1. You probably wouldnt notice it by the seat of the pants. Would probably be 3 or 4hp stronger with 39s.
  2. Me either Cam. Its still sitting needing a clutch. I just got some bottom dogbone mounts with the heims from Tim at stellar ordered I hope to get and put on to stiffen up the motor in the frame more.
  3. You know I will. Gotta clean up on the slow bikes after you get done with em.
  4. Jumping into 1st probably left the spring out , the far right side one closest to the shift star. If it is a duneable that will make it even worse but a non duneable still needs that spring. As for not going into 3rd it could be shift star/ecce ntric adjuster not adjusted correctly or anytime an override wont shift into higher gears without letting off the throttle it may be clutch slipping. Does it shift hard going into 4th , 5 th as well? If so then clutch slip may be the problem. Otherwise , eccentric, shift fork.
  5. I am off work the whole week of snakehunt and live about 20 miles south of ya if you wanna come down before SH and tune on it. I also have a Chrome Lonestar +10 if you are looking for a 10 over. +10 and 12 extremes is what I ran for years.
  6. Lansingbird the setup you have shouldnt bog at all with 8 paddles , the problem with going to a +10 or +12 swingarm is then you dont have nearly enough tire. If everything is ok with the motor and electrical system it shouldnt bog. A cub that is rich at all on pilot, needle, or mainjet will bog pretty easily. If I had to guess it would like a little smaller pilot like a 45 or 48 and may be rich on the needle. If you can do plug chops get your brown ring right at the mainjet that is right at nickle to dime thickness. There will be a buncha guys down at snakehunt who can help you. I will be up behind lsps on the hill snakehunt week.
  7. Austin , I think on the 44mm and the bigger 250rs the neutral/ starting point is like 49.6mms. Flat side of the needle facing reeds/motor of course. If it lean hangs or revvs high then thats lean of course and if its blubbery or blowing alky out on your hand after cleanin it out thats rich. A good snappy sound is what ya want. A little blue color to the smoke rather than white like steam when putting around shows its pretty close to right.
  8. Steve , look for Mike with the big Raptor dragger and the KTM quads. He will remember ya from the Oct ride.
  9. A used stock cyl dune or play port from fast or hjr will be a good setup as well. There are others out there that are good too. Jeff at FAST has a saying on his site and its " you can go broke trying to save money." Used quality stuff is my vote. A serval setup alone with domes and pistons will be $1200 to 1500
  10. Heres a writeup I did with some pictures and instructions to help adjust the spring tension properly on a duneable. With everything lined up perfect the duneable should be very forgiving and can even be backloaded. They arent 100% reliable like a stock trans but they are very fun to ride. http://forums.atvdragracers.com/topic/12383-duneable-override-spring-balance-and-adjustment/page__pid__103028__unlockUserAgent__1
  11. Lol. Sounds confident in that motor. 4 mil cub or 10 mil.

  13. Why would it blow up LT? If you would be interested in a trade for a cub holler at me. Thx.
  14. I like holeshots and have worn out a few sets i think rzrs suck bad. Kendas are ok but they are heavy as hell. I have 2 sets of those too , i have ridden all of the tire listed. Ambushes have no side bite and slide too easy as well as spin easy.
  15. AsianInvasion got one of those a couple months ago and it started up about 2 times and went out. His bike is still sitting in his garage with that POS on it not running.
  16. Photobucket link not working for me. Maybe just photobucket having probs??
  17. Yes , its about as easy as doing it with the topend off. Do it upside down. You may be able to get the rod and ball out before actually splitting the cases. Poke at it or hammer slightly with a long screwdriver and see if it will come out before splitting.
  18. What he said. If they arent pumpers then you may not be able to get it to not flow past the seats. You can lessen the pressure by running a bypass from the pump back into the other side of the pingle.
  19. I will of course pay half the gas and loan you my truck and toyhauler too. Lol
  20. I looked at our vacation weeks available for next year and memorial week isnt one I can take off work unless something opens up. Maybe I can come out a different week and visit you sand mtn guys. How hot does it get there in the summer average? Too hot to ride?
  21. I wish somebody would buy it. I hate seeing it for sale. Lol. Sweet bike.
  22. Dont hokd back Tyler , tell him how you really feel. Lmao
  23. If you are doing a DM then the trench work will require....just that , trench work and quite a bit of case work. Less rod angle is better in general but just listen to your builder thats doing your DM cuz I doubt you are doing it yourself anyway.
  24. Hell just that email telling me to log in could be someone phishing or giving bad links for you to log into. The whole St louis thing may be BS. Do NOT click on any of those links to log into anything.
