  1. I've not ridden anything with the R2's yet, but the Rockets I have were on a stock motor. They have decent bottom, come on real hard and very, very fast in the mid and pull like crazy up top.
  2. You're probably not gonna find or hear any negatives. From what I understand, they perform like the earlier version of the Rockets, which womp on the Toomeys.. The early version Rockets or the first design are quite bulky, could possibly burn your legs if you didn't pay attention, but that has appears to have been addressed with the R2's
  3. You can beat those "fockin" 4 thumpers without race fuel !!!
  4. Don't waste your money on a boost bottle ! They do not boost anything or give you any harse power gains what so ever. If you got a lil bit of coin to spend, get yourself some Serval cylinders, a good set of Keihin pwk carbs, Noss head, Vforce 3 reeds, an adjustable timing plate maybe a some original Rockets or R2's. You will be looking at a couple thousand U.S. currency, but you should be over 80 hp and I doubt that gay 450 will touch you then... Mike
  5. Well...with those pipes and just a jet kit, you're lucky to beat your own shadow.!! You need some porting and some better pipes / carbs.
  6. Just because the book value is a specific price...Doesn't mean you are going to sell it !! Hell, I am seriously doubting the value being $5,300 with 230,XXX miles on the odometer. I don't know what the economy or HEE HAWW tuck market is where your from, sooo You might just get stuck with it. My K2500 4x4 suburban only gets about 9 - 10 mpg around town with a vortec 350, and I can assure you that the beast your looking at is gonna be that or less with a big block. Maybe 9 - 10 highway. Good Luck
  7. Just paint those babies black along with the head and it will take some trained eyes to spot the differences.
  8. Check with Brandon at Mull Engineering. I's best to e-mail him at work, the address should be in his profile maybe. Mike
  9. How well would these work on a play duner bike ?? Mike
  10. Hey Calvin, I have been curious to know if the Servals will ever have the power valve option or not. Mike
  11. I did this specifically for Silver Lake !!! and guess what...I have had this thing up there a few times with multiple dune to parking lot to dune entrance's and never was questioned about it.. The one time the DNR officer had his broken off piece of flag stick, that was used to check spark arrested silencers, walked back to the back of mine and went to check my silencers... he looked at it a lil puzzled and then said I was good to go and waived me in. Just saying it has worked for me, not guarantying the same success for everybody else. This cost me less then $ 5.00 to do, sooo do what you want. Mike
  12. The stock silencer cans are pretty restrictive..I had made my own, spark arresting screens out of stainless steel drain screens.
  13. Very glad to hear..Hope everything works out very well for ya. Mike
  14. I like them better then just having the fenders cut. Mike
  15. I'm quite certain that the Zeel comes with a few curve pre programmed that should work
  16. Just try it.. some people like it and some don't, but from switching the upper control arms from left to right to clear the shocks.... in My opinion is just crazy because you are changing the upper an d lower ball joints in relation to what they should be and that's even if they are correct to begin with on the Banshee frame... I am quite certain that nobody has measured up a 450 frame to check the actual upper to lower control arm alignment before people just started slapping these things on a Banshee and then realizing the shocks don't clear the back of the upper arm... so they start swapping them from side to side........ In all actuality the Banshee frame needs to be narrowed in the front , rake added and reconfigured to as close to a 450 as possible to make them work correctly. Do as you may, like I have said some like, and some don't. Mike
  17. The sad thing is...many people like that waste of life and many more like him such as ( Minkia / Ray ) are ruining eGay for people like me. These mother fuckers have flooded the market with all their bull shit that the value of parts has dropped dramatically. I have never expected to get rich from selling on there, but used to be able to get decent money for good used parts too though. Mike
  18. I've ran the Av Gas shit for ever..stock Banshee, CR 125's, 250's, 500's ...You will always have your haters or know it alls that claim it will cause engine damage but what ever !!!! My shit never blew up from running it, I think it made it last longer due the lead content helping with extra lubrication. I ran that stuff in my R6 last summer and thought it ran a lil leaner, but the bike is on the lean side already..( needs rejetted badly ), but am thinking it had something to do with the Av gas being an oxygenated fuel. Regardless I think it's a great fuel and will always run it for dune'n or hard running, I will also run it through my bike again once rejetted. At the airports I just told them I had a homebuilt / experimental plane, because they did ask
  19. I'm by far means no expert here, but I've always ran 40:1...Just have thought that 32:1 is too oil rich. As for the piston windows, I'm more then willing to bet that they are for back pressurizing the intake track to help close the reeds and force the charge through the boost port above the intake windows. Not for the incoming intake charge. Mike
  20. Yeah I agree with Tyler and Cam. I used to think it would be cool to run the 450 stuff on the front of the Banshee, but after looking at / into doing it, it really throws things out of whack....The front of the Shee frame really needs to be modded to except the 450 parts. the frame needs to be narrowed and needs to have some rake added. I have a spare roller that I thought about attempting those things with for a duner, but don't know if I really wanna fool with that or not. I think the biggest reason the 450 arms don't work all the greatest on the Banshee is swapping the uppers from side to side just to make them clear the shocks......That's just Dumb !!
  21. Those are a set of Toomey T 4's http://www.toomey.com/html/faq.htm#15
  22. I would like to know of the possibilities or see them machined for the power valves....bottom end grunt here we come.
  23. I almost bought one 2 yrs ago that had some extra fuel tubing running under the seat to a big ass ball valve with the big red lever, because the stock petcock leaked...I had to laugh at him. Mike
  24. Soo, what you are saying is, the wompus will have the same port layout as the servals ..triple transfer - triple exhaust - bridged intake with the mellow timings of the serval and will appear completely stock on the outside ???
