  1. What exactly did you do to the stingers and what did you get them to rev to.. ? No matter what anybody says.. they still are a damn good pipe, may not be the "be all end all", but are good. I called and chatted with Andy Weeks today and both got a chuckle at how they were is OOF Suicide design just rebent and stuffed in frame. The funny thing is all the controversy that has hung around these pipes.
  2. Just laying low.. Banshee still sits in my buddies basement.
  3. Interesting... if you want it louder, you could just take some of the packing out of the silencers.. just a thought maybe
  4. I think I had maybe 500 into the arms and the Dune editions...
  5. I have a nice set of Roll Design +2 +2 arms on my Banshee.. I bought them used as well as the Elka Dune edition shocks I got a great deal on them, but it still sits in a buddies basement I have a hard time believing that these arms are priced at 1,100 - 1,200 brand new.. kinda crazy
  6. Nothing a little bit of chrome spray from a "rattle can" wont fix....
  7. Must have pulled a Road Runner...."Meep Meep".. Zoom.....
  8. I wonder what the "new / improved" stator consists of...??? A different color..? A different Chi-a-knees source..? It's kinda funny how that Gary mentioned asking the Trickster a few questions and was blown off.. It's most likely because the Trickster knew nothing about stator winding, and just sold Chi-a-knees junk.. It's also funny that Gary mentioned that the Trickster then contacted him at a later point and then was asking Gary himself on how he was able to rewind / make his stators work so well
  9. Zombie Apocalypse banshee, ehh... hmmmm ... I think I would maybe tie some cows to it, use it as a bait station
  10. Have ya considered a 4 or 7 mm "super serval", massaged into the port timings you want, or are they not producing very good numbers.. ? Or maybe in the case of a 10 mm serval / super serval.. if they make that much more torque then what you have, couldn't you pull more gear and keep the revs down a lil bit.. ?
  11. Nothing wrong with the idear of a Serval... Once a person gets bored with the power, they can be made / ported for a bit more or even a cub. Not everybody wants or needs a drag motor to begin with.
  12. The Banshee trans has a tighter ratio then the RZ does... The shift drums are identical, the shift forks, however ARE different.. Banshee forks have solid guide pins, where as the RZ forks have a roller for the guide pins. Some say it doesn't make a difference, some say it does. I have a nice set of extra RZ forks and drum, that I might be willing to part with.. Be careful of the 2 Stroke Shop.. there has / had been lots of drama surrounding that place on the RZ / RD forum. I, however DON'T know from experience. Mike
  13. Now... Find a nice R6 roller, and get to building...
  14. I have some here on my computer desk... I had Jim do a 4 mill 12 port on some RZ cylinders.. truly a work of art..
  15. Hell.. I'm not that far away from those areas... I've also been wanting to check the trails out near Baldwin as well. I need to hurry up and get my Banshee finished up and maybe come meet up this spring. Mike
  16. KX / CR 500's would lay a stomping on those 450's as well.. I would be more concerned about one of those "IF" they can launch without looping out. But very glad to hear that you "owned" them 450's like ya did... LOL
  17. Ray is no doubt a fuckin SHYSTER...!! BEWARE ALL...!!!
  18. Yep.. may have to heat it and beat it... or cut it.. Been down that road before.
  19. One of the things with good ole "Special Ray" is, you don't necessarily get what is in the pic on his Egay listings... That has been the case many times..
