A friend of mine put them on his Banshee. He doesn't jump at all, and said it helps being lowered for drag racing. From the looks of it I wouldn't do any hard whoops or jumps with them installed.
I just bought a Armadillo front bumper for my wife for Xmas. Haven't installed it yet but it looks good. After she opens it on Xmas I'll post some pics.
I had a set powdercoated several years ago, and the heat melted the socket inside the arm. Maybe if they don't heat them up too much, I have a friend that has a home do-it-yourself powdercoat kit that uses a heatlamp, that might work.
I bought a few from him too. It was like $19.95 each with free shipping if you tell him you are from the HQ. Nice product by the way. I put 4 of them on and they all fit good.
I have the info you want in my toolbox in the shop. I will get them and post it tomorrow. You will need to have a carbide 1/2" End Mill to recut the nuetral backcut. I will also post a pic of what a finished one looks like.
Probably just a small piece of dirt in your needle and seat. Usually you can clean it out and it will work fine.
If you are lucky, you can just tap the side of the carb bowl with the plastic end of a screwdriver and it will stop.
I saw a Crankenstein motor at Little Sahara many years ago that was setup that way. It was a snowmobile topend grafted onto a Banshee tranny. It was fast!
I bought the +2 +1 JD arms with new Works triple rate with rezzies, made a huge difference in the way it rides. I can literally fly through the whoops!
