  1. I can machine the flywheel for you, just send me a e-mail and I can give you more info.
  2. My front on my 88 is the same as any of my friends new Banshee's.
  3. I have one and did it just like Scott said, works great.
  4. I have it too, but it's 18.8 meg. I could send it if you want?
  5. That's unreal, not the jump but actually attempted it into the van.
  6. I have friends that have come out a lot worse. Glad to hear you got most of your stuff, and most of all that you still have the Shee. It still sucks though.
  7. I have done many for HQ members and never had anyone not like the results. Definetely something you want to have done.
  8. Remove the snorkel from the airbox lid. This will let it flow better, and only has one screw to loosen, plus you don't have to buy anything. Do I win a prize?
  9. That was hilarious! Thanks.
  10. I have had a Durablue Eliminator for the last 3 seasons, no problems yet.
  11. There had to be something else wrong with that Banshee, or he had too much milled off, or not enough squish clearance. I have never seen anyone have problems related to a properly machined stock head. Another thing is compression testers vary greatly between types and brands. I only test with a Snap-On gauge anymore. I run over 175 psi on pump fuel, and this has been working great for about 14 years on my Banshee.
  12. You can do the top end with new pistons, rings, wrist pins, gaskets, and the cost to bore to the next size for about $200. Porting is going to cost you quite a bit more on top of that. If you want more power on a budget, have the head shaved while it is apart and advance the timing 4 or 5 degrees. This will give you almost 5 more HP for not much $$.
  13. I might be interested in that. Send me a pic of all that includes at [email protected] Thanks, Ron.
  14. My frame is powdercoated silvervein and it has held up fine. Looks just like the day I brought it home 4 years ago. I know that they powdercoated clear over the top of the silvervein, I just assumed this was standard practice.
  15. I think he means the threads on the tranny shaft where the front sprocket mounts.
  16. There is a shop here where I live that does frames for $85. That is for blasting, masking whatever you don't want coated, and powdercoating.
  17. I use type F tranny fluid, and change it regularly.
  18. Cowboy Camp is the newest addition to the North campground. As you are driving into the North campground there is a road just to the left that leads to the Cowboy Camp.

    Countershaft

I have a shaft if you still need one.
  20. Sounds like you got the pressure plate on wrong. Rotate it to the next position and put back together. You are not the 1st to do this! Ron.
  21. I haven't been down there in awhile but would hate to see us lose it. It is about 30 miles West of Tulsa. Except for the thin piece of land connecting it to the parking lot it is a small island. When Keystone lake is normal or down, there is a lot of beach riding all the way around it. There are also lots of trails and woods riding.
  22. I also have the Barnett. Been in for 10 plus years with no problems. No slippage, but like others posted it does have a stiffer pull than some other kits. I tried different springs but started slipping it, so went back with the Barnetts. Have a friend with a ported Banshee with 35's and CPI's that tried a different kind of springs and they wouldn't hold the power, went with the Barnett's and no more slipping. Ron.
  23. You must have been camped real close to us. I was in the 3rd camp spot from the entrance to Cowboy on the East side! I had a spare clutch in my toolbox too............... Later, Ron.
  24. Here are some instructions from the manual:
  25. Did you make it to the Cowboy campground? I looked around but didn't see you.................
