I have a friend that has a complete Warrior motor and tranny he is parting out. The head was bad but everything else is good, already disassembled too.

The stock arms do not have replaceable ball joints. New replacement arms from Yamaha will probably be white, and cost about as much as a set of extended arms. So if you think the ball joints are still good for awhile you should just take the arms off and paint them.

Also, it looks like the problem is that your new plate is cast, and slightly too large. I know you knew that already! You could chuck the plate up in a lathe very lightly, and skim that surface so it would fit. The stock plates are machined where they fit into the cases there.

If it is like all the other adjustable plates, you line up the timing mark with the split of the cases.

I pressed them out today and they are stock size bearings and seals. The outer two bearings were bad so I just put all new bearings and seals in it. Probably be several years before I have to mess with it now.

I just give mine 1/2" of toe-in.

Go to Rocky Mountain ATV and search for tie rods. They have a full replacement set of Chromoly tie rods with Honda style ends for only $89.99. Way better than the stock setup.

I can get about 2 hours on a full tank, don't have a clue how many miles per tank. I have 34PJ carbs, so I use more than Banshee's with stock carbs.

From the outside they look the same diameter as the stock bearings and seals. I was just wondering if anyone had actually replaced them before on a LSR, and if they were, or weren't different. Thanks, Ron.

I bought a LSR round housing swingarm and axle carrier off Ebay a few months ago, and I'm finally getting it ready to install. LSR says that it takes a different axle bearing than the stock bearings, and they'll sell me a kit for $105! That's not going to happen, I'll go to a bearing house and get replacement bearings if they are different. I already have new stock size bearings and seals and just wondered if anyone has run into this before? Thanks, Ron.

They told me on the phone that the stock lines would be long enough for the +2 +1 arms. I bought a set of the JD +2 +1 arms and the stock lines are long enough. I am going to upgrade to braided lines soon, just haven't had the chance yet.

The 34MM are PJ's, and the 33MM and 35MM are PWK's.

Yea, it's worth it. Makes shifting a little easier, and finding neutral better too.

The stock intakes will fit, they just have to stretch a bit. I have been using the stock intakes with my 34MM PJ's since 1989.

I agree. I have had people that already owned the DYNA, have me modify their stock plate to advance their stock ignition. And then they sold the DYNA because they said it didn't work as well. I have not personally tried the DYNA, just going from what customers told me.

I've done it, I think I used one of those awls that come in the Craftsman screwdriver sets. Then the spherical bearing presses right out.

Over the stock carbs I'm sure there is a gain on top, but you take the same Banshee and put duals on it and it will be faster on top. Sure would be way easier to jet with just the single on it though. I have never run a single, but have met several people that had them. All told me that they thought they lost on top. Where I usually ride the duals work better, but in the woods or tight trails the single might be better. I don't know any builders that recommend the single for their motors.
