  1. well im upgrading to 35mm carbs with the billit intake so that was the reasoning behind my Q's. but i think if i can modify the stock air box i will or if not then maybe get the aluminum one if that will work and if all else fails ill go with the pods
  2. i got a set of 28 pwk's w boss intake im tring to sell and willing to trade.....just thowing it out there
  3. got an offer on the intake so unless it falls through only the carbs are for sale now...$250 for the carbs....sorry no pics as of now..will get them on as soon as possable
  4. are you talking about the v force stuffers or the aftermarket stuffers.....i have the aftermarket ones on now with the boss intake and 28mm pwk's
  5. so whats the purpose of spacers? any other need for them? and besides those two are there any others that are beter and with the use of v force 3's
  6. both have billet intakes and both claim to not need spacers for 35mm carb clearance of the clutch arm(please tell me if you know this not to be true) one has a "Horizontal fin" and the other has "cross hairs" and both are about the same price.....anyone have any experience with either or any proven info about the two different designs?
  7. whats good im not mud crazy by any means but once and a while we find some wet areas and if im not gaining any significant power then id rather go with the piece of mind....how about those CFM Aluminum Airboxs. are they any good or same as a stock airbox?
  8. ok im tring to figure out if i should go with pods or stick to my modified stock air box....i ride a lot of coal hills, dirt and dusty open trails and curently ride with an open airbox but was thinking about using pods cause of ther increased air but only if the protection is good enough, but affraid of ruining my motor. anyone have any insight on this? is the extra air flow worth it? or maybe even a CFM Aluminum Airbox Air Box....anyone ever try these...do they increase air flow?
  9. lol....maybe i will go with -1.5 and if its not quite enough ill go with -2
  10. are you talking about stock reed cages? if so i will be once i go through all my stuff and then ill list it all at once but for now just selling the pwk's and intake
  11. i was thinking of going -1, -1.5, or -2 but wasent sure if it would be good cause i do alot of coal hill climbs....what do you guys think?
  12. as long as i can same some money and still be able to smoke the 450's and 500's i ride with then im happy.....just got to figure out how to really hook up as good as them or ill be playing catch up
  13. no im not a dreg racer and thats why i thought of going down and saving some money ....all i do is alot of open trails with a bunch of coal hill climbs and some tight trails so do think i need that little extra down low
  14. im not to sure what domes are in there now ...they are dimes made by hjr for the 4 mill but i do know im right around 175 psi on each side....would i really be able to feel the difference between 173 and 160 on the bottom end? is it a big difference?
  15. someone has to have some insight, thoughts. acual knowledge on this
  16. ok i dont know if i ever asked this before but here goes....i have a 4 mil stroked shee, aggressive trail port, case port matched, 35mm air strikers v forces, and curently running about 175psi in 60-80 degree weather @ sea level-800 above.....my questions are 1. what comression would i need to go down to to run straight 93 octane pump gas? 2. what will i be losing going down to that compression? 3. also what would i gain if i went up in compression and how much is the max i should go if i went that route? ..... race gas is getting to dam expensive for me to go ridding for 6 hrs at a time but if its going to cost me major power ill deal with it.......thanks for the info guys
  17. how did you find out the flywheel was bad?...my shee doesnt seem to run as good as ive heard it should....maybe i should look into these problem
  18. i got a pair of 28mm pwk carbs with boss intake w/internal crossover for sale. looking to get $350 the carbs were setup for gas on a 4 mil ported shee motor
