lean ....really? i thought it was pretty good....thought it was supposed to be a choc brown and 2mm in size? is that not dark enough?

figured it out ....dumbest mistake.....was a nest in the exhaust...must have gotten there from sitting all apart in the shed....lol...never even thought to check that

got good comp., got spark.... im thinking it has to be a carb issue so time to take them off and check them out

well thats what i was in the process of doing ....synced them by eye and then started it and thats when i noticed.....its a huge difference between the two so i dont think being out of sync a little bit would do that? unfortunately i dont have a comp tester handy

these carbs are new to me i purchased them a while back and just now getting around to putting them on. but when i bought them i did take them apart and clean them up to have them ready to go when i got around to putting them on....its a fairly new rebuild with little ridding since the rebuild so i dont think its a internal problem but who knows!!!

checked idle adjustments and both air/ fuel screws are 1 1/2 turns out....the stator side is the one with no smoke really not much pressure at all when holding my hand over it.....is there cross tubes that go from one carb to the other on these?

have been putting the she back together after a long time waiting and i got everything back and now ready to sync the carbs....got it close by eye an started it up to check it with the sync tool and noticed that one pipe has a lot of smoke coming from it and the other barely has any at all.....what is the problem here before i continue and break something shee has 35mm air strikers btw

just installed my new clarke 5.5 gal gas tank not realizing im going to need handlebar risers......can someone tell me how high i need to go to clear the tank and if im going to need to extend the cables and such???? i have Pro-Taper SE Handlebar atv-mids if thats needed info. also need to know if anyone has what i need for sale or where to buy what i need?.....thanks

so the carbs don't get connected to each other in any way? they work individually on their own?

so they don't go anywhere? so do i need the tubes? do the carbs need to be connected to each other by any tubes or anything?

did my leakdown test today and no leaks after 7 min it went down a hair ....maybe a 1/4 of a psi....so all is good....thanks for this thread

i just added my 2-35mm airstrikers and it didn't come with any hoses. can someone please in detail explain how the carbs are supposed to set up....i do have this diagram but not sure if it applies to the banshee dual carb setup

anyone in NJ ride in the pine barrens? im curious what type of tire/paddle is good for that area? haven't been there in many many years and dont remember the terrain type
