  2. it runs excellent and sounds same no leaks no extra smoke so i think my gasket is fine like someone said maybe its access gasket material and i just noticed it now since i actually cared to look thanks alot guys im just going to fill her back up with some koolaid and go
  3. ^ thats what my dad thinks he thinks it expanded enouh to flak away that kinda shiny coating of rubber i dont know lol so if it is the stuff from my head gasket is that bad?
  4. well i drained it all out there was alot, my impeller was fine but im almost thinking that the chuncks were over spray that wore off from it getting hot because its thin and flaky like paint thanks guys
  5. well i am gong to check my impeller today but since its probably the head gasket is it bad oris that normal? to flush the bike im just going to run a hose threw the rad with the cylinder bolt off then put them in start it and do it again until clean well thanks for the help guys BTW if it was a copper material coming from the gasket wouldnt it be copper not black?
  6. so is it bad for the copper coating to come off should i get a new one? i think it might be from a hose that scretched from the heat and flaked a little because if you feel the inside of a hose its smooth and shiny bu ti dont know as much as some of you guys how hard is it to install a billet impeller?
  7. ok here are some pics i got a sample and it is very thin and almost rubbery kinda weak and a bit of a shine to them i have no clue what this might be but there is quite a bit of it cant really see but far right corner there is a pool of it
  8. ok well it only has freakin 25 hours on it cuz its an 07 it runs great no extra smoke and no leaks around the head ill check my impeller tomorrow does that little coolant reserve allow coolant to be drawn into the rad also? i figured that it was only and overflow box not an extra intake for coolant if it dosnt withdraw coolant inot the rad then its a blown gasket thanks guys
  9. ok im ridin and poof she over heated so i let it cool down and i look and in my overflow box in the back was empty then i look again and theres black chuncks in it to dark to be dirt so i look in my rad and there is a bit of coolant and black chunks im guessing it was my impeller? i rode it slow back to camp im guessing i should flush out my rad and hoses and what do i have to do to check my impeller and how hard to change it with a billet one? thanks alot guys

  11. well a newby question came to me last night so here it is turning the air screws out leans the bike a bit correct and turning them to the right richins it? also the air screw are the gold screws on the left sides (from sitting position) of the carbs that are flat heads thanks for the anwser Mike
  12. no man it runs better when i was 11 degrees out not 20 at about 14 degrees out it runs a little worse with the choke on if it is like 25 out it hardly runs with choke on stage 1
  13. well my plugs are black sometimes my air screws are out about 2 1/2 with snorkle off its an 07 so i doubt it has any other problems i was just wondering if i raised my needels a clip that it would lean it out enough i guess that if they are dark brown that it is ok to run like that? how bad is it to run it a tad rich for ever? would i go threw top ends more or would i see no evect? can anyboy else help thanks Mike
  14. sorry i was in a rush so i forgot to mention its stock the dealership only had one 190 with them so i bought it my bike isclose but i knowit still is rich but just wondring if 190 i too lean or if moving my needle clip up to lean it out well be better thanks for the reply
  15. well my jetting is close in 16 degree celcius weather but is boggy in about 25 dergee weather which is when i usually ride i bought one 190 main thinking that well do the job but well it be too much or could i just drop my needle down further to lean it out? please let me know before i buy another 190 it was about 11 degrees this morning and it ran a little better with the choke out on the 1st notch thanks for any help

  18. i orderd a jet kit but its stage 2 and has 270,280,340,305 sizes now how could i get 190,180 etc i am mad now because i cant go riding this weekend thanks alot Mik
  19. what does tap mean? is it the hole that comes straight out on the outside of each carb and is the biggest looking one? thanks guys

  22. what exactly do you need to do to drill them out and where are they? i dont know what to drill out and what to do after that, i want the the screws to be in super snug and tight so what is needed? picture would be very helpful
  23. probably a heavy mix with oil or it could be the seals for the header which are only $8 and maybe new springs for the pipes too your packing might be gone which can cause some oil outta the silencer and where the pipes connect could be needing new claps and bushing or rubber seal things good luck Mike

  25. so this jetkit well come with 190s? let me get straightend out here this is my first time rejetting so the main jet is where the needle or pilot jet drops into? and the purpose for the airscrew is what? the airscrew is the flat gold screw on the left of each carb correct? going down as in moving the clip towards the dull top side of the needle? well thanks very much for the help i am excited to get my bike running topnotch as of jetting but since i have this thread up and going would you be able to help me out with this other problem? sometimes maybe 2 times during my rides my bike well want to shut off when i down shift like bog and stop and if i touch the gas at all like i have to slowly blip it to get it up in the rpms to get going again like even from 5th to 4th when i down shifted it locked up kinda an just gave out its an 07 so its new and i broke it in with the correct heat cycles im thinking maybe the POS TORS are "gaying" on me but so early? well thanks again Mike
