  5. I have same temps going on rite now and im at 55 pilot 185 main and the needles that came with the carbs cels are too lean for the 39s with your set up.with your elevation try 180 main and go to to the other needles

  9. x2 on air leak one thing everyone forgets when they blow shit up is too pressure test it before you tear into it,now your guessing at what it was and it could have been narrowed down
  10. Speaking from a welders POV its toast but being that it has to be re niked and bored it might be possible
  11. Leak is only going to get worse identify it and fix it,its prob a sprocket or shift shaft seal
  12. 17 cc domes is drastic unless your running alky ,whats your static compression and who ported it.I live in long island,(nassau).I know of one person besides myself that ports.Im leaving 4 hunting tonight but ill be around this weekend.I test n tune in farmingdale at night on weekends in an industrial area.If you need a hand let me know. How well your builder planned out the port job will determine your jetting.I have seen duneports jet out at 400 mains and also been as low as 340 mains.27.5 pilots is a must start rich and PM me if you need my number I just got done with two builds that will need jetting soon so uill be down there tuning
  13. Thanks shoopie there is a fine line between lean bog and rich I have messed with and tuned so many diffrent bikes i have them in a rolodex of cards.I pulled your card should be close,I forgot what your compression was but running race fuel if its not warented will hurt performance the fuel burns too slow
  14. Get shearers ,39mm pwks,lockup ,overide
  15. Bump the pilots richen up the needles, whats making you think you need 2 lean it out
  16. Before you fill next time pressure test it,air comes out rad cap something is up.Make sure the notch on the dome is positioned rite in the head.
  17. prob a typo
  18. 35 is the lowest pilot they make 4 those carbs.Start with 42 pilot 155 main and see where your at
  19. Those carbs like big pilots on ported motors.Start 55 pilot ,155 main its been a while since i have seen those so i cant remember the needle
  20. Ive heard of people staggering jets but have never had a need ,it was thought the intake runner on the clutch side is a lil longer from the stock box but many jetting days/tuning days have proven that wrong.Ohm out your plug caps /wires might not be jetting
  21. Personal experiance with those pipes 30 pilot 2 turns out your main is good needle all the way rich and sync the carbs along with proper cable play
  22. CEL with 33s an 35s
  23. If he can ride that 250 You will have your work cut out,in the first 200ft
  24. My 4 mil drag port beats a ported cub 4 - 5 races but the set-up is everything,I spared no expense on that motor and it shows.I just got my drag ported cub back fron nikisil so that motor will go together and ill run both bikes down the track and see
  25. 175 main 52 pilot.Might end up around 168-170 depending on porting.Safe start tho.Listen to her on top a rich break up and a lean stumble can feel similar sometimes.Do you know your durations?
