  1. no one else is questioning the hose that goes from the carb to the exaust, where exactly does that come into play?
  2. You answered your own question and the longer you run it loose like that the more possibility of catastrophic failure, with compression that low i doubt a hone is possible you prob need to bore it
  3. jetting doesnt worry me but 68 psi does, what might be minor scratches to you could be major when your talking .003 piston/cylinder clearance
  4. What are looking to do with it
  5. It was the extreme, both are operational now one is being beaten to death in glamis by wacko 2000 an one is in high roller355s old bike on asphault
  6. 27.5 pilot 280 main needle 4th clip,1 1/2 out on the air screw
  7. That problem sounds similar to a few issues Bad cdi or aftermarket ignition Plug caps dont ohm out correctly coil grounds and motor mounts not cleaned to bare metal after powder coat(no ground continuity) bad coil/stator nicked harness
  8. I dont remember if i altered the post but the fact remains i still remilled the drum on my bridgport to fix issues with both trans, and thats after i got them back the second time from him.Would i hesitate to buy another, hell no .I would buy one in a heart beat,.i was dragging him through the mud the same way anyone would have after having a $1100 of useless shit laying around and no answers or call backs .He rectified the situation, oops gotta go do taxes later
  9. Its a cool idea but has issues with sprocket/axle alignment motor would be off centered
  10. I have a miller syncrowavr 300,I weld my own cranks, stock cranks are easy because the center web/pin are one,Im no certified proffesional on cranks but i have a true stan or v-blocks a brass hammer and a dream,I beleive in checking the crank after its welded, but the heat if done rite should not rack it at all,Wisecp cranks have been plagued from discussions i have had with people, get it lookes at by someone who deals with banshee cranks
  11. Ive had my issues with the extreme, there is def literature in here on it,but recently have had greg talk me through some shit that changed my opinion on him
  12. why you dead set on leaving in second, what do you plan on gaining?
  13. If i can stress it enouph, clean, clean, clean.Get some ascetone, new white rags,Assembly lube on on tranny parts ,
  14. I also use the .018 gasket, they epoxy the holes in the top case on front, back, some epoxy the transfer gullies as well as drill the holes out for better lubrication on crank bearings,In my opinion case porting is a must
  15. some people think more fuel is better or are masking an issue,I have tuned peoples bikes to run for all around performance perfect on a plug chop and pulls clean, they talk to there buddies and are convinced there lean,so i give them back there jets that were in it.I 9 outta ten end up back to what i put in there.Everybody allways knows better!Sorry just bitchen
  16. I have found those carbs to like big pilots,a set i recently tuned ended up with a 55 pilot,155 main,i find the air screw on these carbs lacking the proper jet circuitry or something.I would put big pilots in it and give it a whirl.A ported motor will pull fuel more effeciantly so if its ported it might end up in the 50 range
  17. try 205 main
  18. whats it at now,IMO rite now you should be 185 main or so 55 pilot needle 4th clip,so if thats correct 180-182 main 52 pilot
  19. jet ski set ups you can adjust pop- off
  20. almost looks like a cold seaze, you def need to chamfer those ports much better regardless of the mixture being wrong
  21. As said get your bore checked, revving doesnt crack skirt, loose pistons do,so many people just think hone it and put new pistons in,I have taken apart hundreds of motors very few had straight n tight bores. There is nothing like a tight hole
  22. Well put i have seen many variables come into play, all seem coinsidental.Did you check the crank for trueness ,and did you put the rite domes in for the blaster pistons
  23. Usually a high end miss is the coil or plug wires,I have had a cdi do the same once
  24. Whats up bro,got a new phone ,I wasnt able to transfer your number if you can shoot me a text so i can save it again, lost it about two months ago on a job.How about this snow its been crazy. If your getting a clutch the FAST racing clutch holds up real well or if you want something cheaper tusk heavy duty
