  1. People also seem to favor their favorite engine builder. I rather risk sacrificing a few hp to have great customer service and get my Juggs back in a couple weeks.
  2. Ur engine is built? Spray that mofo
  3. Yup then lack of traction is a good example cuz 400+ civic should walk you hard.
  4. What does your car trap in the 1320?
  5. If you dont ride fast trails, i would personally spend the money on better suspension so it makes the ride more enjoyable. I have a 4mil playbike on race gas with all the goodies. Has tons of power and yet im on stock garbage suspension. I know it's not what you asked but if i had to do it over again, id do suspension before stroking it. As for cubs and other drag cylinders, you really need to ride one to fully understand how they make power. It's like a 125 dirtbike but worse. It's nothing then MASSIVE power. Basically gonna throw the front end of your bike up if it hooks. Terrible for anything but WOT. I would do a cub set up in a heartbeat but i refuse to have a playbike with a drag ported type of power band feel.
  6. No need to apologize good sir. It's all in good fun. I never take anything here serious. I do agree with buying american. But for others who's work is slow and can barely afford to buy stuff for their hobbies, a cheaper alternative is best. Anyways, i started using water wetter about a month ago but i dont have a temp gauge yet. So i havent be able to monitor temps. I figure if it ever overheats and spits then i will see i have a problem. Only other radiator that comes to mind is Toomey and i've heard those work great.
  7. Id have to know exactly what they go for used etc then i could give examples. But im bias, a lot of guys would love those rides. And i have not driven either. I just look at potential and my personal preference. My buddy has a cobalt ss(turbo one) and it's a VERY nice car but the potential is limited as well as it's FWD. when im looking at a performance car, i look at long term goals. FWD is amazing hard to get power the the ground to when you start to push a lot of power. Although riding in a 400whp civic hatch is down right nasty feeling!
  8. It's all about personal preference. The usual gear head wont leave anything stock. Anything can go fast, some just take more money they others. Look at me, i bought a heavy tank and sank thousands into it. But i love it! it's me! It seems a lot of your guys are bias. But so am i. I would take an evo over an STI or WRX any time, but i rather choose something else =-\ Not to sound lame but i think id do gay porn before i would own an srt4. It's a freakin neon for crying out loud! See....im a "little" bias
  9. Good point able us smaller motors needing 1st. Since I don't drag race only I do tend to put around or take the gf for a ride. Takes too much clutch work to get it moving with my 15/41 gearing and pro wedges. And I don't even think my bike would pull 6th gear worth a damn if it had it. I'd prob have to go back to a 14t front. And thanks for explaining why there will never be a 6 gear dunable, always was curious.
  10. I wouldn't buy it from iraq, sand might get in my cooling system haha. Anyways, anybody else try these? And noticed a difference in temps? If I'm not mistaken the stock one is enough for high hp bikes, but the cooler the better.
  11. Just wanted to say again you gotta get the power to the ground. Especially on the holeshot. When i got ported i got my butt handed to me cuz i was spinning till 4th. It's a bad feeling when you read you are going to spank anything and go try and lose most races.
  12. That camera(or reflection of one) in your sig, is that american? How about your tv, radios see where im going? Anyways, thanks for the reviews. This will be something i will probably get.
  13. atf type f here. Cheap. i like cheap. thanks for your opinion though OP.
  14. Which is the exact reason i went with an override. Never missing a gear. I tried lots of things. The added bonus of staying WOT and shifting w/o a clutch was a very fun and addicting bonus. I let my buddy who never even owned a bike and hardly has anytime on mine beat on my shee, still shifts fine. Now, will the forks needa be replaced in the future, probably but it's worth it. It's not like it's gonna all of a sudden wear down.
  15. I was also told strait cut gears aren't needed. And if I rode nothing but WOT Ida gotten bigger carbs. And I disagree on the override for drag only. Mines on a play bike and it's sooo darn fun!
  16. Looks like we got close to the same set up. Get ready for some major fun! Now lets see the thing run!!
  17. I love my CPIs but i wouldnt want them unless my bike was ported for them. Mine came with t6 pipes and they ran great. They also do well with porting. Maybe check the for sale section and see what you can get for cheap then go from there. Good deals on pipes are always around! good luck!
  18. I predict you will play catchup if they can ride. And doing so, you MIGHT catch up when you are in 6th gear if the road is long enough. spinning aint winning.
  19. Stock carbs did fine on my bike but i went with 30oko's just for the hell of it. My builder told me saying with a 28 or 30mm carb will help my low end. The person who does your porting should be able to help you best. I went with the longrod crank, 795 series pistons and stroker domes(noss head).
  20. 1-5 n-down dunable. Unless you need 6th, i dont see a better option. Im keeping mine unless they make one with 1-6 thats dunable.
  21. Mine came with t6 pipes. It ran strong and sounded great. Awesome set of pipes.
  22. IMO the best thing to do is wait till you get your bike ported. The builder(guy who will port it) will know exactly what works the best. That way everything works together and you get the best gains possible.
  23. I have the GB racing relocation bracket as well. And i also threw my coolant bottle away.
  24. Yeah I take care of it. However if it does go out, Ima get the same kind unless they made a dunable with 6 gears and n down.
  25. 28-30mm oko's. Work fine. I went with 30's because my builder say smaller carbs have better low end velocity. You do understand, stock carbs are fine though right....
