  1. I love my dunable override but i do miss 6th gear sometimes. It's something to think about. I hope someone makes a dunable in a n-down 1-6 or 1,n,2-6th.
  2. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=118385 click your name by logged in as>select topics tab then you see all the threads you made. To find post, click on the post tab. enjoy.
  3. Banshee: For when she says, "I'm too tired." post 15 has my vote.
  4. I understand that. So that means the lockup has nothing to do with how easy/hard it is to shift?
  5. If that's the case, why would you need an override? If the clutch disengages then it should shift....right?
  6. With the engine spinning so fast, the clutch plates dont want to separate due to the lockup doing it's job.
  7. 1/2-1 in the rear.
  8. I used my GB racing relocation bracket to put the CDI and voltage regulator between the tank and radiator. I then deleted the key switch. Then moved the killswitch/lightswitch thing behind the radiator. I just shoved it in there rather than cut/mod wires just in case i ever wanna use my lights again. It cleans it up very good imo. I think a nice billet throttle housing would finish the look off but im not wasting money on that any time soon. http://rc.superdave2u.com/MyBanshee/banshee2%205-18-09.JPG http://rc.superdave2u.com/MyBanshee/banshee2%201-18-09.JPG
  9. Outwear goes over the filter. Several sites sell them. I personally dont use them. You can use duct tape on your frame to prevent your pipes from getting scratched or scratching your frame if you hit it while putting the pipes on. That's what i do to take out my engine or put it in. Use a few layers, it's cheap!
  10. If you decide to get the juggs ported, talk to whoever is doing it. They should be able to tell you everything needed and what works best. With the right portwork and set up, 4mil's are very strong and fun!
  11. extra jets SOLD. all is left is the CDI.
  12. Damn operator error! gets me every time
  13. hey lets look on the bright side. You gave someone a good bike!
  14. Does your clutch disengage all the way? I always thought from the way ez-pull sets work is they make the pivot closer therefor making it easier. At the same time, the it doesnt move the clutch actuator as much. And it puts more stress on the cable. I did a few searching on this a few months back and people had the same thoughts. That brings me to ez pulls w/ shorty levers. The longer the lever, the easier it is to pull. Right now im using refurb ASV's because my MSR(or whatever it's called) raptor ez pull was a piece of garbage. It did work fine though from what i remember. But it was made cheap.
  15. It's so good to see someone take advice and go for the free stuff first. You jetted properly instead of went spend more money. Also you posted back with results. Props man! So were is the video?
  16. Got it. As OP says, will ship friday.
  17. Post 2,3,4 and 8 attempted to help you out. Deleting this thread would possibly hurt future people who search. It does get old when people ask the same question but as i said before. This place would be dead except for the sales sections if the same topics didnt come up. At the same time i'm tired of seeing "use the search."
  18. Did you talk to him before you decided on sending him your juggs? He should of told you the power estimates and worked with you on set up etc.
  19. I had the same problem. I decided to go with a Vito's style undercover lockup. It was only $220. A good clutch set up is around $100 but i didnt want to deal with 6hd springs. I did that last year and the clutch pull was a PITA! So now with this lockup and 3 hd/3 regular springs, it has a very nice clutch pull and doesnt slip one bit. I'm even using the same clutches from last year that couldnt hold the power at all. I guess the vito's lockup really puts a strong bind on the plates. Only draw back to slingshot in general is you have to tip the bike over to install and/or remove the cover that goes over the ball bearings. http://vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/prod...=184&page=1 Some people say that banshee with lockups are very hard to shift w/o an override. I have an override so i dont have that issue. Others might wanna chime in. I'd hate to recommend a lockup then you cant shift the thing.
  20. no. ill do $30 shipped. thanks climb.
  21. When you find out, let us know.
  22. A lean bike can still pull clean up top. Please do a plug chop to make sure you arent lean. You always wanna start rich and work your way down. I've got 30 oko's as well. Mine bogged bad off idle as well with 48 pilots REAL bad. It was a bitch to take off. I had to go down 3 sizes. I was getting too much fuel. You can pull the choke out and rev it a bit while IDLING to see if it wants more fuel or not. If it's better with the choke a little or fully out, the pilot isnt big enough. If worse, it's too much pilot. You can figure the pilot/air screw out while the bike is in neutral. You want it to rev very clean like a 125 dirtbike as my builder would say. The needle clip position doesnt come into play till about 1/4 throttle, correct me if im wrong. Put your needle back like it was and leave it alone till your off idle issues are solved. Well you can leave the needle clip as is and mess with it later. It's not gonna affect your engine right off idle.
  23. carbs sold. extra jets are not. $20 for all the jets still remains. CDI is still for sale.
  24. I have 1 cdi from a 2001 banshee. Works great. Id like $68 shipped. I have stock carbs with the tors removed and idle screws installed. works great. However, 1 screw is missing from one of the fuel bowls. You can just rob one off some old carbs. Asking $40 shipped. If you want extra jets(mains from 280-350. And 25 & 27.5 pilot), it's an extra $23. You will not get any mains or pilots with these carbs unless you buy all the extra jets. Outside of carbs will be stripped of lines and cleaned a little. You will also be getting a used throttle cable since i cant use it with my new carbs. I will only ship to USA and canada. Add $8 for Canadians. Items will be shipped the friday or saturday after money is received. Tracking # will be provided. I'm also looking for new pro wedge 2's mounted on .125 rims. Possible trade with cash. I do not want used pro wedges or anything else. Do NOT quote pictures or this entire post. That is pointless. http://rc.superdave2u.com/for%20saleCDI2001.JPG http://rc.superdave2u.com/for%20salecarbs.JPG
