  1. Do you think a stock cyl 4mil would turn these ok?
  2. Looking for some new paddles... pm me if you have a set in good shape (no rips, tears, etc..)
  3. PM sent if not sold
  4. does it hurt to get rid of the coolant bottle? doesnt it serve some purpose? ha and ya i was lookin for pictures of a relocator bracket where the pods are or the one by JDS customs... but that looks like a nice choice too
  5. ya i will send him a message. im really want one but i would like to see what they look like on a bike before i buy one
  6. was recently looking into getting the coolant bottle relocator bracket and a hide a key system... when i stumbled upon the JDS customs design that relocates the coolant bottle/ CDI module / and the Voltage Reg. all under your front nose piece of the plastics... I guess i was just wondering what you guys thought? and if anyone has any of these things if they would post some pics so it would make my decision a little easier ha thanks alot!
  7. ya that is not a bad deal since i was going to get my motor ported anyway before i thought about the 4 mil crank. and i wanted to get a cool head anyways. how do i find FAST? what is they're url?
  8. Was checking out 4 mil cranks by hotshots and beings as i have to rebuild my motor and buy a new crank anyways i was wondering if investing in a 4mil was worth it? looking to get some feedback from people. also what has to changed/ modified and or boughten to make the crank work? new jugs? new head? etc... thanks guys! appreciate all the help and feedback i can get p.s I am not a "drag racer" or a "hillshooter" just a recreational guy who likes to hill climb and rides the dunes 90% of the time.
  9. Looking for a +4 Swinger and a new crank. mine is shot unfortunatly... also if you got a red radiatior hood or some red or black shocks i might be interested. let me know what ya got! the worst i can do is say no
  10. hey thanks for the tip i might try and tap it good and see. i would like to get it out with out splitting the case
  11. alright thanks for the advice. ya we have a clmyer's manual so we attempt it. haha
  12. Just found out that i will be needing to split the case in my '01 banshee due to a bad crank and clutch release lever.... i was just looking to get some advice on this. My father and I have rebuilt a toyota 22r in our garage with only having to take the crankshafts and stuff to a machinist. I was just wondering if splitting the case on these is real difficult and should it be taken to a small motor specialist? or could it be done by weekend mechanics such as us haha just looking to get some feedback. would like to save some money by doing it ourselves but if it is a difficult of delicate task then we will take it to a local atv/mx shop and have them look at it.
  13. Ya thats what i was thinking... yes we pulled the adjuster and ball out just fine. but when trying to get the release lever out of the clutch we put a magner down the hole to try and get that rod out but it appears stuck... was hoping i was not going to have to split the cases but it looks like that is the only option.. thanks for the advice and help
  14. I was riding my '01 Banshee recently when the clutch just quit working... went to shift back down into 1st from second and it was gone. no pressure at all. tryed everything when cousin who runs banshee's suggested it might be the clutch release lever. I was trying to take the clutch release lever out of the case to inspect it and followed all the directions loosend the adjuster out 2 turns and tryed to pull it out but it is stuck. it will pull out about a 1/2 inch or so then stuck. cant get it to budge. not sure if the clutch rod just is not letting it go or what.... tried getting a magnet and pulling the rod out but it wont move either.... any suggestions?!?! starting to think we may have to split the case...
